We need more player like Marcus Camby who have heart and guts for all 48 minutes.  After getting his leg landed on by ODOM, he goes out and comes back later if only for six minutes.  We need 11 More players like him, who have heart and guts and are willing to play thru any ailment that comes thier way and to be able to play tough in the paint at both ends of the court.  When I watch the games, I cannot belive how they do not crash the boards with the front line we have.    I a sick of watching them as they do not show any heart.  They have the talent, but it comes down to heart and gutts and the willingness to do wahtever it takes to win it is not there.

yup. i was a fan before during and after the jail blazers when we stunk it up but guys like pryzbilla still put in the effort. i'd rather loose by 20 with guys on the floor who want to play than watch us go .500 with limitless talent and no heart. the last few games have been down right boring to watch. if players dont care why should I? Sure they turn it on in the second half sometimes, but i still don't see the passion. im not sure where to put the blame, the individual players? nate? LA's ont he court leadership? i dont know, but someone needs to light a fire under some butts. we've seen what the team does whent hey all show up for 48minutes. they win by 30-40 like it aint no thang, and it's not because the otehr team stinks, it's because this team is THAT good, but only when they feel like it.

I was in the stands in 77 when they won their one and only championship.  That team had guys like Larry Steele, Lloyd Neal, and Johnny Davis coming off the bench that had heart and played with Tenacity because they had heart and passion for the game.  They loved to play and it showed.  I am still of the opinion that if Lloyd Neal would not have blown out his knee in the 1977-78 season, Blazers would have gone back to back.

Ultimately the decision comes back to the players, if they want to play without heart and only collect paychecks then we will not be anything more than a First Round Playoff Exit Team.

This also starts at the top with Paul Allen walking his talk about putting a championship caliber team on the floor and this includes him having a GM who has control of Team Operations.  Losing Rich Cho was a huge mistake.  Paul Allen acts like Al Davis of the Raiders in a lot of respects.  I would not be surprised if he has a runner going to Nate with plays to call.

Nate was a fabulous defensive player when he played, he stepped it in the fourth quarter in the games he played.  In the fourth quarter (crunch time) we need to have our best defensive team on the floor and all offense needs to go thru Aldridge and if he is double teamed kick it out for the shot.  Someone has to get this thru Crawford and Felton’s head.  Andre Miller understood this and that is why he was so valuable to the Blazers.

Nate needs to address all of these and Paul Allen needs to just put up the money and trust his staff to build him a winner and quit being so involved.  A great leader trusts his team to do the job.

Get some hearts and guts Blazers or you will be nothing more than a mediocre NBA Team and playoffs will not be in the future let alone a championship.

We could possibly take McCollum with the 10th pick and trade him to the kings for Marcus Thornton. I would personally prefer if we kept McCollum because he can give us scoring off the bench and he will bring that maturity of having been in college...

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
