Wallace has been playing so inconsistently it is time for a change.

Plus Nate needs to start playing younger talent to get them more experience.  You cannot run a team on this schedule with a 8 man rotation.  It will not work.

I agree Batum needs more minutes.  But I think we need to start developing a young point guard, not bench our best defender.  The backcourt is where the Blazers are falling down.

Without Wallace's rebounding, steals, and willingness to accept contact, the Blazers would be even deeper in a hole than they are today.  It's not like Batum has been all that consistent either.  In fact, he's made critical mistakes on D and missed or passed up wide open shots on a number of occasions.  I'm not sure his head is screwed on yet.

Start Batum at the 2.  He's earned it and he can play the position.  We have Felton, Matthews, EWill, and Nolan Smith collecting paychecks.  Let's see who wants it the most.

I think Batum and Wallace is going to be great if both of them play together. The starting line up that I want: Batum, Wallace, Aldridge, Camby and Crawford. Matthews can be our 6th man. What do you think?

I think that is the best idea anyone has ever posted.  Being Felton and Matthews off the bench.  My only concern is that Crawford needs to learn to pass off to Aldridge bevore taking a shot.  After watching the Dallas game, anytime he took a shot before attempting to get it too Aldridge I cringed becuase most of the time he missed.  He needs to distribute the ball better.  Once he does that, we will have a solid backcourt with the line-up you described.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
