Is Toronto crazy??? I am a fan of Hedo and I think he would do wonders for the team. I like Batum, but he is too one dimensional...the NBA is a game based on offense and he just doesn't have that skill set yet in his career. I'm all for building him up though which is another reason why I want Hedo. He'd be a great veteran for Batum to learn from, but now we got the Raptors reportedly throwing 12 mill for Hedo???...do yall think its just talk or is it really a possibility?

At this point i think its too early to read too much into stuff like this, more often than not its a rumor anyway but i suppose its still possible. Im not sure how i feel about hedo being a Blazer so my feeling is: We get him great ill go with it and be happy. We dont get him then no love loss there and we move on to something else. Thats sorta my take on things as it stands right now. To be honest i dont really know why we -need- Hedo with Batum and Webster at SF and Outlaw aswell. But like i said im just going with whatever happens

The news last night was saying that all other teams have now dropped out of the race. I think the fact that Detroit signed two free agents yesterday is making everyone anxious so rather than competing for Hedo they want to be the first in line with someone else. This means he will more than likely be in a Blazer uniform this season. Here is what I read into this. EITHER, Webster's foot is not healing and they don't think he will be back, OR they are going to test the market with Outlaw. There are a lot of Blazer coaches and personel in Spain with Rudy right now so the Blazers know the situation with him regardless of what his agent is telling ESPN. What I think you will see is possibly a big move, possibly for a veteran PG. I think KP wants to make these deals happen and stay within the Cap as much as possible. What I heard as far as the salary for Hedo is probably 5 years $50 mil. I think it's a little steep, but I think Portland will do a 2 for one, or 3 for one at some point OR they will have a very shallow bench this year. I hate to say it, but look for both Claver AND Patty Mills to be playing overseas for the next two years. Also expect to not see Koponen or Freeland in Blazer uniforms. I think the signing of new contracts is pretty much over. You can thank the Memphis Grizzlies for these troubles because of the D-Miles contract. If he wasn't on the books, Portland would still have another $8Mil left over after signing Hedo. The Miles thing isn't going to SINK Portland, but it will make improving the team much harder to do without giving up a lot in return.

NO WAY PORTLAND!!!! if we sign hedo turkoglu than we can pretty much say goodbye to Rudy! that is something that i do not want to see. Rudy brings so much more to this team than hedo can. i say let hedo go and try to pick someone else up. turkoglu is Turkey Glue!!!

Reports are Hedo's wife wants to go to Toronto. Toronto might not even have to offer 12 million a year. Just match our offer and her preference might be enough to get him north of the border. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it if he did.

    Agree with Cmeese

Nicholsan will be a solid player. Hes the new leagues Brandon Bass lol...funny Magic drafted him... He would have been a good back up to LA but would have been dumb at 11

Lamb, Harkless, Henson would have been great...

Maybe we should go for Pekovic as a restricted free agent and see what Minn will do.

Okay, I''ll admit it, I like Asik better. I definitely think they will both have very good careers. And finally, someone who agrees, that Ibaka is a  shot blocker, not really a great defender.

Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
