Whats the deal? Why is he playing so Lackluster,I mean since the Blazers didn't sign him to a extension he has played nonexistent Basketball, and I just don't get how he Balled so good for our team last year, but this year he definatley hasn't played with the same fire,it just sucks because we Need him to be the Gerald Wallace that we got last year and like I said to me it seems like he's not even trying,he's definatley not playing with 100% effort

I think the wear and tear is starting to show. For the type of player he is and has been, this years tight schedule is tough.

He's got a broke finger. He should think about taping it up real good to a buddy finger, and then attacking other teams with THE CLAW!

They are all playing a tough schedule, but you only see LA step up his game.  Look at Camby he is 39 and is unbeatable on defense.  Wallace needs to clear his head and start being the Crash we had last year.  Get tough and drive the middle and get those boards, that is his game!

Wallace leads the team in steals and is only behind Camby in rebounds.  Without Wallace's defense, this team is sub .500.

His finger is completely jacked.  It's not just his shot that is affected.  He can't dunk, even just dribbling or catching the ball causes him significant pain.  But still, he's averaging 13.4 ppg, the same as his career average.

He's been streaky and has looked tired/bad on the road.   He's shooting over 55% in games the Blazers win (home games).  He's shooting 40% in games they lose (away games).  It's frustrating as hell to see him be so inconsistent.  Here's some consistency for you - The Blazers are shooting 44% as a team on the season.  The Blazers stink on the road, the ENTIRE team.  Not just Wallace.  The fact that Wallace's poor offensive performances on the road coincide with the majority of the Blazer's losses make it tempting to think that it's his fault they lost, but it's just not true.  If you look at his entire game, not just is PER or +/- you should see that he's playing as well or better than can be expected of somebody in his condition.

Anybody on this board would be in a full hand cast (Wallace wears one every moment he's not playing) and definitely would not be out scoring 13.4 points and getting 7 rebounds in the NBA.

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.

Nah, Washington would just sign him themselves, save them a pick. Also, no way JJ is worth a lottery pick. Oladipo would be great, for pretty much any team in the NBA. I don''t think it''s possible to get him though. Should focus on getting a defe...

Jermaine O''Neal, Drazen, Z-Bo, Sheed (I know he was already a star but still). Also Drazen was buried under Drexler and Porter.

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
