Not bad, i worry that this would create a logjam at the 2 guard with j-cross, allen, matthews in there. trade machine allows matthews instead of wallace to be traded here. however, Allen only has one year left and who knows if he would stay, and for how much. look also at: this same trade, minus allen and matthews, and sub in A.Johnson for J.Johnson. (two minor players, but this lessens bostons cap space, something they would want to do.)

...Really don't see the point of giving up some of our upper-end quality players for comparable (not BETTER, but comparable) players from another team and another system... just like when Wallace and Felton came here, the Celtic's guys would come over and their numbers would drop immediately as they get used to new teammates, a new city, and a new system of basketball. On top of that, I really don't see why everyone thinks the C's are gonna be ready to give up on Rondo, or Allen who's practically a franchise player in Boston...

IFFFF and that's a big IF we are going to be trading away players before we give them a chance to play at their full form, we better make sure that we're not just doing it for different players of the same level. The only logical argument for a trade is if it brought a high-caliber star that would compliment our core (LaMarcus) without getting rid of the majority of our other talent.

This is a videogame move, and I don't think it would have a desirable effect in real basketball. Give it a shot in NBA2k12, though, if you like.

Trade machine only looks at statistics and salaries. Rondo will have to shoot Doc Rivers and run to Mexico before Boston even thinks about getting rid of him. He's the solitary piece they will be building around after Garnett, Pierce, Allen, and O'Neal call it quits (which I guarantee we'll start seeing Celtics players retire at the end of this season).

I look at the side by side

    Rondo>felton by alot
gerald=ray (in bostons eyes i think gerald>ray for defense resons)
camby>bass by alot (once again boston loves the D and the hustle camby brings)

We trade our D for Bostons O

    Celtics are gonna see this:

Rondo is definitely greater than Felton. Not by a ton in the stats, but better either way. So why would they take a hit at the point guard, when all their other positions are gonna take a hit as their other guys get older? The only person they definitely will keep no matter WHAT... is Rondo. Not gonna happen.

They will NOT see Gerald as better than Ray... that's just silly. We love Gerald here and Charlotte loves him, but BOSTON sees Ray Allen as a staple of their franchise. I'd almost guarantee they've turned down better offers for Allen than Wallace. Not gonna happen.

Camby is better than Bass. No one could argue that. But despite what Camby brings, he's near the end of his career, and that's a problem that Boston has plenty of already. They want a center of the future just like we do. Not gonna happen.

So, the ony position that Boston would be improving at, they'd need to get a new player for after probably another year. I don't see why this would be a smart decision, and they won't either.

    ...not gonna happen.

Shabazz or Saric. We need bench scoring.
