Same as the last 4 or 5 years, Portland is too lazy. I thought bringing Buck Williams in would get the Blazers on track as far as rebounding goes but there has been no change for the better. They just give up way too many second chance points. Their inability to get back on defense is getting exploited more every game.  They started the year more aggressive on offense, but it has been leading to more fast breaks for the other team due to poor passing. They need to defend the paint better, too many easy points for the opposition.

I like Nate but I am starting to wonder if he is not the answer for Portland. Batum is not developing as hoped. I blame Portland's trainers as well, too many injuries in the past, knock on wood, so far so good this year pending Nick's knee, and they just seem to poop out too often.

Just my frustrations, I had higher hopes this year with the talent on the team but........the year is still early.

Totally agree with the trainers. You dont have this many knee injuries on one team without something being wrong with either the trainers or maybe even their practice methods.

roy had bad knees when we drafted him, oden is massive, and batum was a freak accident, probably because he had never driven in that hard in his life. i dont see how you blame the trainers. but sometimes i do question nate in certain situations. i like when papavich doesn't get max effort from his starters, he'll bench them and let 3string play their minutes, and a lot of times they win because those guys have something to prove. sometimes i wish nate would bench a lazy starter and toss in eliot williams and chris johnson and see how bad they want it. i hate seeing lazy players. im sorry, if i make even 100k to play a game, you can bet i'd be in top shape all year and giving max effort. sometimes i wish these players had had to deal with bagging groceries for 5years before getting to play, maybe they'd appreciate the opportunity they have a little more.

That keeps me up at night as well. I think because when he shot in the low post, he would is and back the guy down, and Stotts wants to avoid ISOs and much as possible. BUT WHY if he is so good at it? LMA is a really really smart player, and he kn...

Maniac he does not need play in Summer League. He does need to toughen up a lot and become more efficient.

That''s because Bosh has a good defensive coach. Also, Bosh is a more effective mid range shooter than LMA, because he only takes good wide open shots. I think if he was the number one option and took as many shots as LMA, or had to set up his own...

Remember in Batman, how they had two ferries, one with prisoners, and one with civilians, both with bombs and they each had the remote for the other? This is what is happening now. You want to trade him before he leaves. Why not just get good piec...
