    Did anyone hear anything about Harris? I heard rumors about trying to get him... Thanks for your input.

    i would love to see Harris here, especially after the year he had. But sadly, after the year he had, i dont really see the nets wanting to dump him, but who knows i could be wrong. Might be time to dust the Outlaw trading chip off the shelf and make a call or two and get the ball rolling. I really think he could be a good answer to the search for a proven pg

    Leading up to the draft NJ was trying to move him to MN so they could draft Rubio. I haven't heard a credible rumor of him coming to Portland since the 08  trade deadline.

    I have heard people say that Harris would work well in the starting unit, but I don't think he would provide what Portland really needs. I don't think they need a Proven PG, they need a Proven Veteran PG. This is a young team, they need a guy with experience, intelligence and tricks of the trade. Right now, a guy like Harris is still relying on talent. If our young players could learn some of these tricks, they will have longer careers and more successful careers. Harris would make the team better, but he wouldn't make the other PG's better.  That is the problem with a guy like Harris.

    I'm sorry but drop this rumor. Do you think Devin Harris will leave a team that is trying to build around him to go to a team where he is the third or fourth option and get paid less money? No.
