Trade with Nets

    What would you think about a trade of Batuum, Felton, Mathews and a 1st for Deron Williams, Brook Lopez, and Marshon Brooks (new jersey nets)?  That would mean our first string would be D. Williams, Aldridge, Lopez, Crawford, and Wallace.  The nets are losing so they might consider a trade.  I have not been impressed with our team so far.

    BOOOOOOOOOOOO. HORRIBLE TRADE IDEA.

    Williams is a princess. Lopez is overrated. Brooks... has never really impressed.

    Felton is one of the best shooting pg's, especially outside, he's just in a slump. All players have bad shooting streteches, and all players get over them. Any other problems Felton has are due to being a new arrival in Portland, which we'd start completely over on if we brought in a new pg like Williams.
    Batum is still climbing to reach his full potential. After a HUGE summer in europe, he's finally showing signs of more aggressive offensive play in the NBA. To go with that, he's an unbelievably good defender. And he LOVES PORTLAND. Can't say ANY of that about Lopez - he's not bad, but he's never jumped off a page and I definitely don't see him having the intangible that Nic Batum does.
    Mathews, like the other 2 Blazers above, is statistically a pretty good shooter. He's just having a slump which he'll pull out of. And again, his defensive value is near irreplaceable when it comes to a shooting guard.

    On top of that, we've been sayin all season how one of our greatest weapons is gonna be our team chemistry. Why would we risk that for players who are NOT significant improvements to our current lineup? Not saying they're undoubtedly worse, but they're not undoubtedly better!
     This is not NBA2k12! Players have good and bad nights, and there are more stats to look at then the box score for each player.
    Making this trade would destroy our team and playoff chances at LEAST for this season. STOP TRYING TO WRECK OUR TEAM, BE A FAN OF WHO WE HAVE!!!

    I would love to have Williams on this team. BUT WOW the Nets would hang up the phone quick if that trade was proposed. Really fast! To start I would bet the Nets would ask for those 3 for Williams alone. Now I would counter by taking out either Batum or Matthews and inserting a rook or two. Williams will not come cheap.

    i dont like williams that much, he's kind of a cry baby demanding to play with a bunch of all stars. im sick of players creating super teams, as you can see with the knicks it takes more than  acquiring a bunch of names to win. i'd like to see felton get a chance to gel before we toss him for a new pg. i think chemistry wise he's meshing with the guys and he's playing some high energy defense, his shot is starting to fall and he seems to be mentoring nolan smith quite well.

    We don't need trades!!! We got good team and we going to win on the next games! Felton, Matthews and Batum must stay! Rose Garden is their home! Do you want to trade them because they played no-so-good recently? Wait a moment, they going to start hit on the better %, and you will be their first fan! I know it... fans, uhhhh, damn!

    I agree with the guy who said that the Nets would hang up quickly while laughing. Trailblazers fans often overvalue their players. Deron Williams and Brook Lopez are better than anything we have and it's not even close.

    But, I think you must have been posting that knowing people would reply.
    I am a fan of Trailblazers who want to have the ball with seconds ticking away and needing a bucket to win it!

    joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.
