Here's the weekly rundown of NBA Power Rankings. If you found one that's not listed, please add it!

    Marc Stein - ESPN. com
    Rank: No. 5

    John Schuhmann - NBA.com
    Rank: No. 3

    David Aldridge - NBA.com
    Rank: No. 4
Blazers unbeaten (5-0) at home, winning by an average of 13 in the Rose Garden.
    Sean Sweeney - DIME Magazine
    Rank: No. 3
The Blazers are quickly becoming my favorite team in the league. So many athletes. So much versatility. Their big win over the Lakers at the end of last week played out exactly like I knew it would. Portland is just too balanced and athletic for nearly everyone else in the league. They even have a budding superstar who’s completely underrated in LaMarcus Aldridge. Actually, he might be my pick for breakout star this year. Basketball heads know he can play. The rest of the country doesn’t. They’ll find out this year when Portland goes deep in the playoffs.
Mitch Lawrence - New York Daily News
    Rank: No. 3
OK, so the Blazers beat the Lakers again at home, Kobe Bryant's 24th defeat in Portland in 30 games.
    Complex
    Rank: No. 5
The good news is that the Blazers are 6-2, having beaten both the Thunder and the Lakers. The bad news is that their one loss this week was a blowout at the hands of the lowly Phoenix Suns, who inexplicably recaptured some of that old D'Antoni magic. Even with that loss, however, they're holding opponents to 95 points per game, and thriving with LaMarcus Aldridge as their leading scorer. Who knew? —Russ Bengtson
    Kurt Helin - ProBasketballTalk
    Rank: No. 3
Best team in the West so far. Beat the Thunder and Lakers, but then looked tired against the Suns (we’ve chosen to ignore that game, good teams are having ugly losses do to the schedule this year). Interesting game against the Clippers Tuesday in a matchup of the West’s new guard.

If Marc Stein were smart, he'd have the Blazers over Denver (ranked 4) given the fact that they beat the Nuggets already.

Top 5 sounds good but I wish we were not ranked so high. I think it puts a big target on our backs. Hope we can sustain the momentum. ROLL ON BLAZERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or Shane Larkin ? This kid is 5''11" with a 44" vertical. Absolutely lighting it up for Miami.

although I do think that eraser head haircut is a little rediculous and outdated but none the less kid could either be huge or a complete bust and at this point if we had that number 1 pick I wouldn''t pass on him then I''d go out and get someone ...

Yeah It would be a good deal for them but who Olshey isnt reading this haha. If we can do this trade to start our off season we would be in great shape.

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.

As long as he stops pulling the ball down in the post I will be happy nothing more annoying than watching that happen several times a game

Dont see how we can get a starting defensive center. I will be very impressed if Olshey can find one

  8. Is Paul Allen more Concerned about Profits then Winning a Championship?

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
