    Trail Blazers (5-1) @ Suns (2-4)

After dispatching the Thunder and dethroning the Lakers, the Trail Blazers will take their Western Conference-best 5-1 record on the road as they take on the Suns as part of a one-game road trip. It hasn't been as rosy of a start for Phoenix (2-4) as they have yet to win consecutive games and have a losing record at home to date (1-2).

If you love a great point guard duel, then you're in the right place. Two of the best lead guards in the halfcourt and fast break will go head-to-head when the former two-time MVP Steve Nash goes up against the whirling dervish Ray Felton who splits the defense, spins through traffic and always finds an open man. In his past two games against the Thunder and Lakers, Felton's dished out 17 assists while only turning it over twice; that's an astounding assist-to-turnover ratio of 8.5:1.

For Portland to walk out of the Valley of the Sun victorious, they must stay focused. This is a game, on paper, where the Trail Blazers should dominate. Portland averages the third most points in the NBA (102.8), ranks fourth in rebounding (45.8) and possesses a player in LaMarcus Aldridge that the Suns simply have no answer for. If the Blazers can get him going early, and not overlook the slumping Suns, they should not only get the W but also be in control enough to let a lot of the reserves play.

What are your keys to the game?

They need to keep their head out of the clouds and just play their game. Oh yeah and shoot and score and stuff.

Man, this shortened schedule is crazy, I didn't even know there was a game on tonight. And it's a road game for heaven's sake. Whatever, Blazers superior to Suns and hopefully will add another notch to the W column.

    RIP CITY BABY!!

Does Phoenix have a Team? And if so why are playing them? Isn't that the team Barkley used to play for before he came to the rockets?

Sure, it was not an elbow though. Those refs in Houston determined it to be a clean box out.

Ain't no thang, a big win by the Blazers next game will erase any bad memories from tonight.

Throw a dog a bone. Phoenix will be lucky to make it to the playoffs this year. We played awful for a game. It happens, sometimes there's a forcefield over the rim, the refs hate you, AND your opponent catches fire all in one night. I bet Phoenix won't play that well again all year. Too bad for them this wasn't game 7 of the finals. And I also don't expect the Blazers to play this bad EVER EVER EVER again. My one and only positive from tonight was that it was fun to see the bench players get some minutes.

Sucks for the lose but we can sustain a few upsets.

This was not an upset. This was we got owned by a cellar team. If I was Nate I would have these guys doing sprints until they puked. They got cocky going in and found a romantic escapade in a Federal prison was waiting for them. I am sorry if I offend anyone with this post but my team offended me tonight.

    Hi,
I only think that we need some rest after this amazing week.

Phx is a good team but we played a very bad game, indeed.
When G.Hill blocked G-Wall earlier in the match, I soon realized that we would have had a difficult night! :|

Anyway... I am curious to understand our real value playing away!

all im saying is if i get paid that kind of money and i have this great of a fan base, i may have an off night, but i still bring it every night. guys were standing there assuming someone else would step up and no one did or it was too little too late. i love Jcross but just because you cross someone up doesn't mean you need to shoot it, Batum is open like all night every night and he's playing with a chip on his shoulder, pass him the rock.

Batum: 0-5 from the arc. It's not like he didn't get his looks. He didn't HIT his looks. That was an anomaly. Nic almost never goes 0-5 from deep. JCross usually hits way more of the types of shots he was putting up. He was beating guys and getting his own shot. The only problem was that they didn't fall. But where do you go? LaMarcus and Felton were messy all night on the pick and roll. Thomas, LaMarcus, and eventually Batum got gun-shy. Basically, all of our standard weapons were gone for this game. Nash played a good game, Shannon Brown and Markieff Morris were taking horrible shots and making them. If Phoenix doesn't change anything, they'll keep losing because the odds will catch up with them. When Portland's legs are in better shape. We'll win that game and our shots will fall. It's still early in the season. That's my 2 cents. OK, more like 2 dollars but there you go.
