Over on ESPN.com's 5-on-5 Roundtable, they discussed five surprising teams so far in the NBA and whether or not they should buy or sell that team as being the real deal.

    Henry Abboot, True Hoop-
Sell. The team is in the pack among the West's better teams, but not ahead of it. All those long, active, handsy guys -- Gerald Wallace, Marcus Camby, LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum, Wesley Matthews -- are doing a nice job hassling anyone who tries to drive into the paint, which led to quality wins over the Thunder and Nuggets. But that West-leading record includes two cupcake wins, and they're also tied for first in rest days to date.
    Royce Young, Daily Thunder-
Buy. Despite all the setbacks, Portland has things clicking. Jamal Crawford was a perfect pickup. LaMarcus Aldridge might be the best power forward in the West. Raymond Felton's pick-and-pop game with Aldridge is lethal. The Blazers defend, are running more and have half-court scoring options aplenty. Everyone wanted to hand the West to the Thunder, but the Blazers might have something to say about it.

It is sometimes hard to step back and see what is truly going on with all bias's aside. I would really like to think if I was on the outside looking in that I would have to buy. When you have names like Batum and Crawford siting on the bench along with rookie Nolan, then you see the weapons. The team has 6 guys that are capable of scoring 30 on any night. All we need is consistency to make the buy/sell a 100% buy. Until we see some more consistency then I am going to buy, but not by much.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
