I would post all the teams schedules, but that'd be messy.   And I feel the Blazers need to focus on winning their games over other teams losing theirs.

Fact of the matter is, for me at least, I've been scoreboard watching all the time after Portland was in a race for a playoff spot last season, which started early 2011.   Ever since, I've been watching, and I continue to watch.  With how short this season is, and how every game is important, and with how the West has always been crammed, I think it's vital the Blazers treat every game as an important game.

So, as we saw with Sunday, the Blazers obviously aren't going to come out undefeated.  But, right now, at 4-1, they are currently the top seed in the West and will hold this position until they lose their next game.

Here are the remaining games in January.

Thu 05  vs LA Lakers   7:30pm
     Fri 06  @ Phoenix    7:30pm  KGWHD
Sun 08  vs Cleveland   6:00pm  CSNNWHD
Tue 10  vs LA Clippers   7:00pm  CSNNWHD
Wed 11  vs Orlando   7:00pm  KGWHD
     Fri 13  @ San Antonio    5:30pm  CSNNWHD
     Sat 14  @ Houston    5:00pm  CSNNWHD
     Mon 16  @ New Orleans    12:00pm  CSNNWHD
     Wed 18  @ Atlanta    5:00pm  CSNNWHD
     Fri 20  @ Toronto    4:00pm  CSNNWHD
     Sat 21  @ Detroit    4:30pm  CSNNWHD
Mon 23  vs Sacramento   7:00pm  CSNNWHD
Tue 24  vs Memphis   7:00pm  CSNNWHD
     Wed 25  @ Golden State    7:30pm  KGWHD
Fri 27  vs Phoenix   7:00pm  CSNNWHD
     Mon 30  @ Utah    6:00pm  CSNNWHD

A lot of road games, and a lot of back to backs.  The main ones that concern me is @Detriot on the 21st (Detriot is a decent team, and its on the 2nd of a back to back after playing in Toronto). @Atlanta on the 18th since Atlanta has beat us 4 times straight, sweeping us twice, and despite losing Jamal Crawford, are playing very nice basketball.  @Houston also scares me.  Not only is Houston a hard place to win, but they've got a decent team too, and are fighting for a playoff spot.  They also picked up Dalembert, who probably is the best player at defending Aldridge.  @ Phoenix also makes me a bit nervous this Friday, since we're on the 2nd of a back to back, and I'm not too sure if Portland respects Phoenix, especially after taking down OKC and likely beating the Lakers.

So how long do you see the Blazers holding the first seed.  And, after at least 5 games for every team, where do you think the Blazers will place in the Western Conference?

Blazers are gonna be the 3rd or 4th seed, last time we had a strike year we were #2 so who knows we tend to do good during the shortened years

Before This last game I predicted a 9-4 run. So I guess it all depends how good 12-5 is. I think it is pretty damn good. But as far as first seed is concerned. Will OKC be better then 12-5 when game 17 rolls around?

PS. All of those away games in this next stretch make me worry. Although we do have quite a bit of Home games after.

We will not go gentle into that good night. We have five guys who do not waver on the road. Wallace,Matthews,Aldridge,Thomas, and Crawford. Felton i purposefully left off the list because i wasnt fond of his performance against the Clips. As good as he's been playing, i need his assist output to rise a little bit. At least 10 per.  He's a 15ppg, 10apg talent. I need him to recognize that. To be sure there are nights when his ppg output will rise and fall, but i need that apg to remain consistently flirting with ten.

I'm really not concerned about if we have the #1 seed as long as we have home court and that everyone healthy and in rhythm when playoffs come this team has the potential to beat anyone on any given night the #1 seed didn't help the Spurs last year.

Felton is averaging 7.0 assists and is Tied for 10th in the league, thats pretty good plus our team is a running team now with him leading us. We've played awesome every game, even our loss to the clippers we never gave up and thats the thing, this team has no quit,we believe we can win every nite and thats the kinda confidence a team has to have to win

Blaser, Fab Melo had 14 blocks in the D-League, you want him? Noel has good instincts, but he is waaay to weak to go up against NBA bigs. Like I said before, Deron Williams weighs more than him. He as already had a knee injury, and we know how tha...

Rip a cap hold is a number given to free agents. Basically the cap hold is added to the teams salaries at the start of free agency. So for example a team has 10 million in cap space but has 15 million in cap holds they are technically over the sal...

Noel was playing at around 220 so I doubt the added weight will slow him down too much the guy just needs to continue his rehab and hit the weight room and he will be fine.

As long as he stops pulling the ball down in the post I will be happy nothing more annoying than watching that happen several times a game

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
