Live game streaming not available in SE Portland?

    Can anyone explain that?  They make a big deal about all the games being available for live streaming for those who can't get them (I'm a direct tv customer).  Yet on the site last night it said not available in 97236 (se portland).  And gave me a link to comcast to order.  What a joke

    The simple explanation is the Blazers got into bed with Comcast, and it looks like they need that money more than they need any more fans to be
    able to enjoy the games. I even tried to order the NBA package from Direst T V thinking that I would ONLY be able to see the away games. How wrong that was because even the away teams feed is blacked out in Portland. Unless you are willing to settle for just the channel 8 @ few national cable feeds, you are locked 
    into Comcast or NOTHING. I, for one, will NOT succumb to this monopoly. I will find something else to do with my time.

    if you love the Blazers, you live with Comcast, it's that simple.

    Hey Chris-
    Thanks for the feedback. It is really important that we hear from fans that are having issues getting the games. Our goal is to get Trail Blazers games to as many people as possible. It looks like you are in an area that is serviced by Comcast. If so, that is the primary way you should see the games.  If you can't get Comcast (or a similar company that carries CSN) to install a line to your house, let me know.

    You can always use TOR and then stream the games on your machine. 

    https://www.torproject.org/

    You go through a proxy so they don't know you live in Portland and then you can stream it. You might have to connect to TOR a few times until you get a proxy that is fast enough to stream. 

    Funny I know, you can only stream it if you have a connection that does not originate in a major Oregon city. If you live in LA and want to stream a Blazer game then no problem. If you live in Portland? Heck no!

    the thing that irritates me is the fact that i had a conflict with comcast (very poor customer service) and now im suffering because i cant watch a blazer game on my own tv, unless it is on tnt (only got to watch the second half of last game) or kgw. i know that the nba league pass is free right now, but it blacks out ALL blazer games (i live in vancouver). i can stream the game on certain sites, however, it is on the opposing teams tv channel, so i get to hear them talk about the other team all game (ugh).

    im just irritated that it has come to "get comcast or nothing" even though i had a bad experience with comcast. what happened was, i had cable and internet. there was an outage in my area last year for about 7 days. when i called about it, they told me that since i had an outage and it wasnt my fault that they would credit me for the days that i lost. when my bill came the next month, the credit was not on there, so i called. they explained to me that i didnt know what i was talking about, they did not see a bulletin on their records and refused to credit me. so i cancelled my service with comcast and went to directv. now i cant watch blazer games because of a stupid contract with comcast. i cant even legally stream the games because i live in a comcast zone.

    the blazers should accommodate their fans with the games a little more. even if we are in a dispute with comcast.

    my two cents.

    I have directtv and it brings the Blazers right into my home,They are soo close me and my wife can see the sweat coming off Jamal Crawfords cute little head
