In last nights game, was Gerald Wallace not being aggressive? or did he not get a chance too?

    Last night Gerald Wallace only attempted 5 shots with 0 points, and had 0 free throw attempts. He averages 9 per game so far in the season. I felt he wasn't getting passed too very much so he didnt get an oppurtunity to drive to the basket. But when he did he either missed, or was called for a charge. what is your guys' take?

    I think it was a combination of the two but it's nothing to be worried about! There were nights when B-Roy only had 5 points:)

    You are right. There is nothing to be worried about. I posted a blog post also talking about it but with more detail, but i thought i would get more responses here :) thanks for your input. Im sure he will be ready to play tomorow!

    i think the early charge calls really got to his hard charging flow. That possibly could have gotten not only to his shooting rythm but also those feeding him (seeing that he was ineffective). Unfortunately the entire team was seemingly ineffective most the game..
    Short term memory this season, gotta keep lookin ahead!

    Clippers knew he was hot. The few times Portland isolated him in the post, the Clippers would throw a quick double team at him. Good teams punish if you try and double team. It's something the Blazers need to work on. In short though, yes, the Blazers forgot who their best player is right now. It'd have been nice to see Gerald with the ball more, not Clippers fans sitting 10 rows up.
