Lamarcus Aldridge, our new superstar who claims he's tired after the season started and you can kind of see it in his play. He's settling for outside jumpers and not posting up and muscling his way in like he did towards his great stretch last year. The first 4 games so far La has been relatively non-existent in the 4th quarter which brings back memories of past seasons when LA would stand their and wait for the action to get to him. Don't get me wrong LA is an All-Star but all-stars are the players that love the 4th quarter and perform. We need LA to do more of that. Last night's game was tough, but when you consider that GW was 0-5 in 30 minutes of play it could have been worse, though if he performs ok we get the W. It's ok though because everyone will have off night's, but we can't make them a habit! Upcoming games below!: Comment!

Aldridge had to deal with a very serious situation about his health, making him miss all preseason training. He has shown us tremendous guts to jump back into the mosh pit without hesitation. In no way, shape, or form do I expect Lamarcus to play at his top physical form right now. And to think he should be is stretching reality.

I know but he has has 2 pre season games plus no 4 regular season games to get back including many practices. I understand but as I have heard the condition isn't too serious and he will step it up. Not trying to get on anyone's bad side....?

He only played half the preseason and just one of the two games in the preseason. We also are pushing more so not only will the lack of 'inshapeness' show more with that, but it is not as condusive for a slowed down, back to the basket approach every play. He is doing solid, and his outside game needs to be established anyhow in order for his inside game to be most effective.

He needs to low post more in the half court game which opens up the outside shooters. LA has always ran the floor well and I think if he ran a bit more (like to the rim) he would get more easy baskets and foul shots, Not liking him shooting the high post shot (even though he is 40% from there). But maybe I'm a bit old school in that I love the low post game and we all know the NBA has changed into a guard game. All that said I think LA will adjust and get his legs back and make the ALL star game and help us get into the 2nd round.

Give him a bit longer. He just came back from another heart surgery. While everyone else was conditioning he was recovering. Just give him some time.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
