Don't rely on the 3 goggles

    From what we've seen from the Blazers in preseason, is a spread it out offense that attempts to swing the ball around the horn to open up the deep ball. Me and my posse have 2 issues with this half-court setup.

    A) By stashing 2 Blazers in the corner, and 2 in the paint, that leaves 1 Blazer to protect against opponent transition baskets.

    B) The Blazers have been a terrible 3 point shooting team in recent years. Of course the fans would like to see this change, and adding a few better 3 point shooters to the roster will most definately help. But let's not force the issue. Play for the 2, and let those 3's come naturally through the offense.

    I would say don't rely on the 3 Goggles, because the team isn't doing the,. Without Patty, there is no 3 Goggles! Man, I miss the Aussie!

    I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
