I think Crawford will be a great fit for this 2012 blazer team. He cant and wont be any thing like Brandon was but he will provide offence. To those that say "Crawford would be best starting". I strongly object he won a six man of the year award a few years back and knows how to play that "Spark" the blazers always have a problem finding and Mathews defence is quite a bit better than Crawford's and would be better guarding the other teams starting shooting guard

When you can beat the Jazz by 20, I don't think you need to change a thing.

Keep bringing him off the bench and see where it leads. I think Chris Johnson made a big statement last night. Watch out Camby if you want to keep your starting job, with more hard work C.J. could be the future at center for the Blazers in the coming years.

I think you are dead on MadMastaK! In the west we have to deal with players like kobe, ginobili, shannon brown, billups, ellis, ferdette, K. Martin, and Gordon.. soo starting a player that can defend well like matthews is a good fit.  Mainly because when we get crawford in there he will face a second string SG, or a tired starter.. good mix for instant offense from the man crawford! I am excited to see him tear up the western conference. I can't wait to see this fast pace blazer team! from the sound of things we will be trying to score with the urgency of suns in years past + we have a good defense.... dangerous combo blazer fans...

i think you better stick to what works. the offensive spark off the bench is what is needed. i expected that, but what i didnt expect was how well jamal crawford can create for others. he had like what, 7 assists? plus wesley is nothing to sneeze at either. i like the running and the traps at half court. the blazers forced almost 10 turnovers in the first quarter alone against utah. im lovin it

Yes this is true they didn't call him the D-league sensation for nothing; his defense is amazing but his offence ... leaves much to be desired. if LA would give him some pointers on a improved post game he could very well end up being the blazers future center. Let him sit behind Camby for awhile and learn how its done and put on 20 pounds hes a twig.

We could possibly take McCollum with the 10th pick and trade him to the kings for Marcus Thornton. I would personally prefer if we kept McCollum because he can give us scoring off the bench and he will bring that maturity of having been in college...

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
