I can not tell Rip City how happy i am that we picked up AARON JAMAL CRAWFORD (had to look up his full name lol). Now honestly you may look at this addition as just a scorer that fills the SG spot... and that is partly correct, but no where near enough of an explantion!

Crawford for one thing can play PG-SF. At the end of the game you can feel comfortable giving the ball to him and letting him close it. That is one way he helps fill the hole that Roy left. He also will come off the bench most likely to give an insane spark to every game. Another thing that i find very interesting about this add, is that with us having him in at SG.. We can play matthews/batum/wallace at SF, Batum/wallace/LA/C. johnson at PF, and then camby/LA/oden/C. johnson/thomas at C.. My point is.. with him in, and how versatile our team is, it allows players like batum and wallace to relieve the bigs of our team from playing sooo many minutes. Yes we added C. Smith and Thomas.. but we have better people on the team that should play.

So all in all, this signing.. makes me SOO happy, and really validates what i was refering to when i said, if we move forward from Roy, we have a chance at building a team that can really kick ass! Here is to a blazer season i have NO DOUBT will be spectactular! I can't even hate it if there are injuries.. we have a deep team, a great coach, and a new fire to win! AHHH!! Start the season now!!

Craig Smith will provide good minutes at PF, but I am very happy with the addition of Crawford. I am also interested in the Howard trade and how the 3-1st round picks offered to PDX for Wallace could improve the team in the long run. I would rather trade Batum, Babbitt, Diebler and Thomas then losing Wallace.

WTF do you call Tim Duncan. The dude is arguably the best PF in NBA history, I guess I did not realize that all this time he was making first team all NBA ballots that he was not a superstar.

The rules limit the effectiveness of defenders these days Blaser. Lebron would win defensive player of the year every year if he could hand check people and hold on to his man like the old days.

Wow some serious high hopes for JJ there.

@Cailin Isn''t a little ironic that the Heat are on pace to win a second straight NBA title despite being the worst rebounding team statistically in the NBA this season.

I would trade the pick, the team is in rebuild mode and I am not sure Burke is the guy I really want on my team. Since my team needs a PG a PF and maybe a SG depending on how they feel about Afflalo still.

Want to talk about trade LA possibilities then maybe it is time to reexamine the Cavs as an option for LA. Can get pick #1 and some pieces or work out a three way trade with the Bucks and Cavs. If we could end up with Thompson, Gee and Sanders for...

Considering that is the only aggressive thing he has ever done in his life, it is not likely he will do anything. Maybe if he did I might respect him more. But its alright enjoy your higher ticket prices to pay this joker 11 million a year.

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.
