    i think it's a great addition.

    I'd start

    camby
    aldridge
    wallace
    matthews
    felton

and you have a great bench with fresh young guys and great proven veterans

    thomas
    johnson
    crawford
    batum
    smith

we know thomas is bringing the D and crawford can score, it's time for batum, johnson, and smith to earn their keep and prove themselves, but they have great vets on the floor to help them

First and foremost JCrossover brings experience. The guy has 10 years NBA experience so he'll be a solid back up to either Wess or Ray off the bench. With that experience he can also pass his knowledge on to the rooks. His contract doesn't hurt our cap space going into next seasons FA market.

Basketball wise he can create his own offence, which provides extra ammunition for the 2nd unit - something they've been struggling to do in recent years. And finally he's a straight out baller and he plays like BAAAWSS, so it's gonna be entertaining for the fans regardless.

Fire off the bench. Find Batum in the corner for three. Oop to CJ. Our first unit can flat out run. The second wont lose a step either. Thomas is an outstanding mid range shooter. Being that hes the slowest, i can see him consistently trailing the play for his stop and pops. Money !!

Great Pickup Welcome to Portland J-Crossover but, I have A question why do we get players that we need about two or three season too late?

Only thing to slow this teams speed down  is Nate using the slow pace offense still and robo subs,  I hope he dont pull  guys like Nic or Crawford  when there doing good  just to put another starter back in,

    scoring, scoring and more scoring!

He's a flat out scorer and can create his own shot off the dribble

Its a very good signing for this team givin the week we had last week

    Felton
    Matthews
    Wallace
    Aldridge
    Camby

Thats a pretty good starting 5, then off the bench you got

    Nolan Smith
    Crawford
    Batum
    Smith
    Thomas

We got a deep team man, Should be a great season!

Some really sick crossovers, making Ray Allen fall to the court was pretty sick.

Kobe has nothing on JCrossovers' Ankle Insurance Co.

After that first preseason game i think that the depth chart you guys have listed need editing:
    Felton        Williams
    Mathews    Crawford
    Batum        Wallace
    Aldridge     Thomas
    Camby        C.Johnson
    11:C. Smith 12: N. Smith
Inj Reserves: A. Johnson Babbitt Barron
    Cut: Oden HAHAHAAAA

naaaah i don't think so, Austin. Batum is doin great but he's no Wallace. (Yet.) Same for Elliot Williams... he's athletic, yes, but the smarts and instincts to be a better backup PG than Nolan Smith, he's gotta learn a bit still. Switch Batum n Wallace back, Nolan Smith and Elliot Williams, and i'll just ignore the rest about cutting Oden. Honestly an injured Oden is worth more (on just the chance that he comes back and produces for a bit) than a Babbitt who as a PF is afraid to get under the hoop and sits on the 3pt line like he was Rudy Fernandez. Now that we have Craig Smith, Luke had better step up his game and then some. Same with Armon Johnson, until he gets a better shot and more confidence with ball handling (and obviously less turnovers), he's the 4th's string PG on a team with a really good PG lineup.

This team is gonna be sick. Rip city my friends :)

I think Crawford will be a great fit for this 2012 blazer team. He cant and wont be any thing like Brandon was but he will provide offence. To those that say "Crawford would be best starting". I strongly object he won a six man of the year award a few years back and knows how to play that "Spark" the blazers always have a problem finding and Mathews defence is quite a bit better than Crawford's and would be better guarding the other teams starting shooting guard

In response to those of you who questioned my lineup selection, i remind you that that was based on one  pre-season game. I agree, wallace will probably be the starter, but i think we will see N.Smith starting the season with few minutes and slowly being added in to surpass E.Will later in the season (per the fact that he didnt get any summer league experience and very little pre-season to adjust to the NBA style). Smith will be the backup PG adventually, but WIlliams i think has it for now.

And as for oden, of course we cut Barron and keep him, but god just his name stings my soul just a little bit every time his name is mentioned!

Nolan has better ball handling skills than Elliott.I think Elliott would be better suited playing a Reggie Miller type game,or like Rip Hamilton. Just keep moving and running guys through screens.

I'd rather see Batum in that role. He always squares up his shoulders and works well without the ball. It seems like whenever Nic gets the ball off of a curl, the shot is automatic.

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
