*edit* (Easy on the swearing) Brandon Roy you were my favorite basketball player and still is sence the day i first watched you play as a kid. i looked up to you and i wanted to play just like you, you were my idol for basketball i dreamed of playing in the NBA on the trail blazer just like you. you were the reason why i even started to play basketball, i was so inspired too play the game by just watching you and i dont even wanna watch the blazers play basketball anymore after they just lost there most amazing basketball player on the team and in the sport of basketball. you just really just disappointed me for leaving like this when you still can do great and i know you can and i know all your other fans know that too you cann just let a bad knee mess you up and not let you play the sport that you love. ijust hope you get this message from me -Adrian Meas
I am a fan of the greatness that Brandon Roy can still bring to the game of BasketBall

uhhh...I feel some of what you're saying, but trust me, if Roy pulls his own card then it had to be for the right reason. Also, there is no need to use swear words. I have frustration too, not at Roy but the situation. The part you missed is that Brandon Roy is a lot more than just a basketball player, he's a very good person as well, so at least we can go on knowing he will be on this Earth to mentor his kids and admirers, which allows me to sleep better. Chill out man please

Yeah... what a jerk for having a career ending injury. He should've known that playing basketball would put him in a wheel-chair. He's a big fat quitter.

I'm being sarcastic. And a true Blazers fan looks at this situation, says "that's tragic" and waits to see where the franchise from here. If you don't want to watch basketball, you're still allowed to play it. If you're any good, I hope you get a shot at the NBA. But I honestly am not sure I want anyone with your attitude on the Blazers' roster.

    Hey Brandon,

Has to be more disappointing to you then to the fan base, hate to see you go.  You kept this franchise alive and made them a winner again, can't say how great it was to watch you work your magic.  Hope you get into the broadcast booth and share more about how it was in the game and get some insights on others you have played against and with in your years with the Blazers.

He is kind of a diva at times. Lots of talent not nearly enough toughness.

You know what is good about the draft you can usually move up and down if your willing. We could have gotten Drummond and everyone here knows it. We also could have taken Harkless, or Henson at 11 or moved back a few spots. We also could have draf...

They has a specialist come in 2008 and say flat out that Oden and Roy were going to have knee issues. If you know the knees are going to be a potential issue then as a training staff you need to work on strengthening that area, healing it and help...

Ibaka though is a much better defender now than he was two years ago.

Maybe we should go for Pekovic as a restricted free agent and see what Minn will do.

Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
