Now that we have Jamal to fill one hole we now need a backup power forward to till the last hole.  Do we have any money left?  Do we have to make a trade to get the backup power forward?

According to Lisa Dillman, Portland is picking up Craig Smith-

I'm super happy that they're putting together a good looking team. I just hope they keep Chris Johnson somehow. I'd like to see him develop (hopefully).

And since New Orleans wants young talent, lets give them Armon,Babbitt and Patty for Jarrett Jack. Or D-League em and pick up Travis Outlaw. He got waived i heard.

Hopefully we'll stay away from Outlaw. He had a nice roll for a while and that's about it.

When did Patty get cut? I had high hopes for him, especially after watching him in the National Team. The guy is a solid guard in the making, which we desperately need

Good acquistions to maintain the status quo.  We still need a more formidable backup power forward and center to move up on other western division teams.

BLazers need to sign Troy Murphy, because he can play both PF and C he's also a better backup than Smith. He provides good rebounding and can space the floor well with his 3 point shooting.

C'mon guys, do some research before posting please.  Patty is playing in China, because NBA players signed to China cannot return to the NBA until the season is completed over there (March-ish).  Troy Murphy, is working out (and probably will sign) with the Lakers.  I agree Barron will probably be cut and I would like to see CJ get a good 10-15 minutes a night at least.  Last I checked we have a full roster and unless we cut some more players, or make a trade, what you see is what you get.

This apparently however does not apply to Yi Jianlian. Because he is Chinese he is free to leave, which I think is unfair.

It's not really that unfair that because he is a Chinese citizen and born there that he gets to leave when he pleases....

I know, but there hasn't been any news the Lakers have signed him yet. So we should offer him a veteran minimum deal to see if he'd want to come here instead.

Chris Johnson, Joel Przybilla, Troy Murphy. Johnson looked great in the fan fest. He is coachable with a lot of potential, very quick and versatile. If not Joel, I think Murphy would want too much money

of course another offensive weapon would be good. If nothing else, Earl Baron has experience.

Holy cow! Are you serious? Troy Murphy is a Laker? WOW! Watch out, Lakers just got seriously more powerful then ever! Good gosh, what ever shall we do. I can feel the ground shaking. What an amazing athelete. Easily 4-5 championships with that guy destroying teams.

It'll actually be funny to see his expression, when calls start going his way.
