The blazers are stacked in the backcourt and at the SF position and they are in desperate need of a solid PF back up. Unfortunatly they will not be able to go after carl landry or chuck hayes due to the blazers deciding not to excercise their amnesty option on brandon roy. Their only hope now is to find a low paid big man that can provide quality minutes behind Lamarcus. The other possibility would be to get rid of a couple guards in a trade that would bring a solid backup bigman to rip city. Comment below and let everyone know what you think the Blazers should do and who you think they should pursue in Free Agency!

Pendergraph yes. Pryzbilla is leaning towards staying retired. Pendergraph was our starting center for a short stretch of games 2 years ago when we were realy thin. So he could come in and be a solid backup PF

blazers wouldn't be able to afford landry or hayes even if they did use the amnesty on roy. do your research buddy

So happy it appears Oden is coming back. With that said, there are a LOT or nice role players available.

In a perfect world, Nene, Landry, Hilton Armstrong, Brendan Wright, Kirilenko, of course Joel Przybilla, OMG i know he's a guard but DeShawn Stevenson, Well that's a start. So glad basketball is here again.

the blazers would have been able to offer a mid level exception to landry or hayes if they got rid of roy. now they cannot. They still might not have been able to afford them but they would have a least been able  to offer a reasonable contract. research done, buddy.

I think Pendergraph and look to make a trade using Babbitt, A johnson, and B roy to a team that will use the a-clause.

My top two targets were Chuck Hayes and Carl Landry, but it appears we won't have the money to land either. I don't think Jamal Crawford is in play because the backcourt is really crowded so my guess is as good as yours as to whom they target.

Tracey.............Mcgrady..............  Perfect guy to back up felton.  He can play any position from the 1-3 and be an extremely valubale asset to the team.  He was playing incredibly well in detroit just didnt get much coverage.  give him 2 MIl to play 15-20 minutes a game.

I like how "the unholy" tried to talk crap and then got kicked in the face by another comment.
    Good job bud.
Moving on to the blazers, we aren't going to get anyone in free agency that is a well known name, if we get anyone at all. I see us doing a trade with some of our guards for picks, and to free up cap space. I am pretty sure this is our team for 2011-12 maybe minus 1 or 2 guards. Best case senerio, is that some teams use the amnesty clause on some role playing PF/C vets that are over paid, and we can pick them up for cheap..
P.S. mbmurr, if we trade roy to another team, they can't use their amnesty clause on him. That clause only applies to players on that teams pay roll before the lock out. We can however use the clause on roy next year if he does not produce this year.. it is up to the natural how long he can keep playing in NBA.

i wasnt talking crap i simply said that we wouldn't be able to pay landry or hayes the money it would take to get either of them here. dhawes said the same thing. nobody has proven me wrong so i wouldnt call that getting kicked in the face. also diablo i would just like to say eat a dick

ooo the unholy got his feelings hurt. it's not my fault you say stupid things.. like "do your research buddy".. and you are the one that is wrong. They could still get Landry now with a Mid level exception. They just have to use the clause on roy, and with the issues with oden and his salary being adjusted, now we can afford him.

We sign Kurt. It's terrible... In my opinion, we must to sign better and younger back-up for L-Train, and I see one perfect player, who can rebound 15 balls in 15 minutes... Reggie Evans. Carl Landry? Forget it, he want to stay in New Orlean, and we don't have enough money's to sign hem. So, bring REGGIE EVANS TO RIP CITY.
