With all the Roy and Oden talk it seems like people are forgetting about the fact that we dont have a GM. I'd like to hear people's opinions on this:

Can Paul Allen, President Miller, and Chad Buchanan put together something solid for this season? How long can a triumverant be the GM?

Are there any GMs out there that catch your attention at this point?

Why not have Chad Buchanan take over? What about him makes Miller and Allen weary? I personally think he's been very proffesional and knows Portland inside and out.

From what broadcasters and Blazers employees have said, it seems like once the season gets started, there isnt a lot of time for anything due to the business of the season, especially due to our condensed season this year. So would that cause the front office to make (another?) bad hire?

I think our biggest need right now (even more important than a solid Guard play) is a GM who can get things done. Not many will be on board with this but I miss Kevin Pritchard. All the guys after him failed to deliver when it mattered. He knows how to find great value in trades as well as the draft. He may not be able to put the final touches in Free Agency but that's the only issue with him. I think we could have landed someone like CP3 with KP as our GM.
I am a fan of the Rip City, where amazing will happen in 2012

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Thank God they are 19 games over 500.  Mayb...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
