What's up with us moving up a couple notches? Is KP blowing smoke that he is targeting a specific player only to do a deal for a lottery pick?

With us moving up a couple notches, I think it really gives us a chance to get Hansbrough. I hate UNC, Blue Devils all the way, but this guy can be a huge asset for us. He'll give us toughness and effort every second he is in the game. His stock has been rising and moving a couple spots up might give us the jump on another team for him. This draft is pretty weak, so I don't see KP giving up any players to get a lottery pick unless it is the top 5.

Im not sure what Pritchard is doing other than unloading some 2nd round picks. I sure hope someone picks Hansborough before the Blazers pick at 22. I think the guy the Blazers are targeting is Chase Buddinger. We'll see what happens. Hopefully KP doesn't trade one of our legit players (20 min's or more PT a night) to move further up in the draft.
I am a fan of the Blazers last true point guard Rod Strickland.

Basically, I agree with Kim based on the fact that this seems to be just a move to make yet another and more astonishing move either higher in the draft or a solid trade for something that we need on the team.....In KP I trust let's wait and see what happens!

That is what I see in this. I believe it is going to be part of something bigger. If it was about keeping this pick, they would have made the trade tomorrow. They want other teams to see this. Start making them sweat and get those trigger fingers itchy. Tomorrow, tomorrow! Super stoked! What about these rumors from Heinrich telling his buddies that he's coming to Portland? I wonder what brought this on? Is he hearing something from the team? from his agent?  What's going on? Can't wait to see what happens!

I'm with you on that. My TV is on ESPN News and my computer is streaming Wheels at Work. The countdown is on! You hear Vince Carter could be going to Orlando? None of this really affects Portland but some big deals are going down on the East Coast, both are pretty one sided deals. Big name players are being traded for nothing of value in return.

Bad calls? I remember when watching the Lakers game after the all star break that it was the worst match I have ever seen. I don''t think it happens that often to us unless it''s a marquee team.

    No one said he would.

The list of possibles assumes Oladipo does not fall below the top nine.  I agree that if he did the list would change and most responses would indicate him as the choice.

Oh, sorry Damian, you make so many I stopped reading them. I don''t because I don''t know much about salaries and stuff. Stephenson would be great, excellent rebounder, Tough Defender, is playing awesome in  today''s  game.

Siccolo, did you mean heavier or lighter? I don''t think Noel will do well in the league. If he stays healthy long enough, he might be a half decent starter, if not, Greg Oden.

Damian, you are completely right on that, let''s just hope it''s not a negative impact (Shout out, Ray Ray). And since when did people WANT to come to Portland? This is great.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
