Free agents? Trades? Who makes the most sense to go after. My opinion is we go after Chandler but I am not sure it will happen. His physicality and mental toughness will add to the team. His defense is quite solid and can run the floor.

I like Chuck Hayes. He shouldn't command a ton of money and he plays some of the best interior defense in the entire NBA.

No Mavs, no Rockets. I say we sign Pendergraph, give Chris Johnson more minutes, and we wait a little bit for Oden to start rolling fools!

AMEN TOBYUS. Pendergraph is a fan favorite and could really grow if given a chance, and ditto for Chris Johnson as we all saw his potential at the end of last year. Can't WAIT to see the beautiful big G.O. crushing the interior again!

NO to Chuck Hayes...  Pay attention to a game hes in.. Teams get way too clear of a shot on floaters and layups

I think we're fine now.  However, we do not have Patty nor Rudy this season, so we lost some outside game.  I'd like to sign some free agents that can hit the 3.

free agency/trades should not be treated the same way we treat the draft. we need to look for the best player which fits our most glaring need(s). for the blazers, that's a big -- or a couple of them. word has it before the lockout that the suns were looking to shop Robin Lopez. if they still are, perhaps we could lighten the logjam at guard and pick him up in a trade. he wouldn't cost us much and he has starter experience. i like Nene, and Chandler would help us out. a big is definitely what we need.

Tyson Chandler had one good year. I honestly think he's too much of an injury risk. Think how often he was injured before last year. Too risky for that price tag.

I have a lot of faith in Chris Johnson. He knows he has to put a lot of work in to get playing time, but the fact that he is open to mentoring from camby (similar playing style) and he is young, I think we give him a chance this year.

We need bigs..... Penderegraph for cheap and see about trading some guards and camby for a solid PF like Love and play with 2 PF's and no true center till Oden is ready or Chris Johnson may be ready to start depending on his work in the long off season, he has a lot of talent and perhaps some of it was developed in the last 5 months.

If we have the same trainer working with CJ that was working with LA, I like the future for Mr. Johnson. But we still need a big. We're pretty good in the backcourt and at the small forward (assuming that Nolan Smith was a good pick up). No to chandler, Nene, and Hayes. Mostly for the price tag factor. For price and defensive presence, what about Turiaf? Also, Joel's back on the market, but he's as much of an injury liability as Chandler. And, if you don't mind someone with mileage, Dalembert is a free agent.

I'm in total agreement with DHawes in regard to adding Chuck Hayes. We all have to keep in mind that we will only have the lower mid-level exception permitted to luxury tax teams to work with, as it looks like Roy will still be a Blazer this year.

Hayes averaged 8 and 8 last year in 28mpg. He is undersized and not much of a shot blocker, but that doesn't stop him from being an excellent post defender and serviceable rebounder. Also, the guy is a massively underrated passer out of the post and is a great "glue" guy. For less than $3mil per, I think he's a very good bargain.

Rumors have the Kings and him showing mutual interest in each other, but seriously.....the Kings?

Btw, hello everyone. I'm new to these parts. Cheers.

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...

Cmeese, you want to trade Aldridge too? Seems like you only care that the championships are under the Blazer name, and you''re willing to throw anyone under the bus to get it.

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
