The Blazers are in need of a younger center and someone to backup LaMarcus. The unrestricted free agent names like Nene and Tyson Chandler are swirling, but I find it hard to believe that Denver and Dallas will let them go. One name who has been someone I have kept an eye on is Jason Thompson from Sacramento. I really like his game. Also the Kings have JJ Hickson who would be  a perfect backup for LaMarcus. I would love to see a deal like this done when the season gets going. What are your thoughts on this or on another big man you like?

Jason Thompson or Hickson would be a nice backup for LaMarcus but I don't see what we would trade for them, the kings would probably ask to much. I see it more likely that we will sign a FA power foward; no not Nene or Chandler, they are no more than wet dreams at this point...it will probably be Carl Landry who said he was interested last yeat and/or pendergraph to solidify the backcourt. Canazano mentioned both of them in the paper today...He also mentioned Chuck Hayes and Glen Baby Robinson, but I don't think either of them will end up in Portland, Hayes would before Robinson, but  both of them will probably head to bigger paychecks than we can offer.

Glen DAVIS.... would be a good back up, but we don't have the mid level exception that he would want....unless we lose Roy...which is a whole 'nother can of worms.

Bring Pendergraph back for sure, then i bet Hayes or Landry will be our most likely targets

"Glen Baby Robinson" Who the hell is that? LMAO. Did "Big Baby" and "Nate the Great" have a love child or something?
