Draft for the Nets and get Devin Harris!

    I think that if we move up in the draft by helping a team out of the first round with cash and our second round picks, then package our new first round draft pick, cap space and a piece such as Sergio/Bayless or both we should be able to help the Nets out from under their cap problems by taking Harris off of their hands. I've seen a lot of comments on boards about trading several pieces for Harris, but I don't see that as necessary because of the reason the Nets are willing to let Harris go in the first place. What does everyone else think?
    I am a fan of Miller's pin-point passes, Brandon Roy's ability to put the ball in the hoop from all angles, Oden, Rudy's flair and Bayless' tenacity.

    We can unload 1 or 2 Point guards so our roster has room for him. We take that point
    guard(s) and add some picks and the trade exception and we get Devin Harris. I'm not so sure he fits in with our team and it's chemistry. I have a strange feeling that KP wouldn't like him. Anyone else think so???

    A trade exception can only be used by itself. So we would not be able to package picks WITH a trade exception, they would have to be 2 different trades. As for Devin Harris, KP had the chance to get him before last season straight up for Travis Outlaw and didn't do it. I think that's the one mistake KP has made since he's been here. I think Harris would fit good into our system, but he's not coming. Especially now that he's an all-star, you'd probably be lookin at givin up a lot.

    There's another guy on the Nets, that I'd like to see in a Blazer uniform, and it ain't the better Lopez twin.
