    So we all no there is a tenative agreement to end the lockout. Now that basketball's back in business, what predictions do you have for the blazers this year. Free Agency, Trades, Record, Playoffs? What do you think?

    acquisitions will include pf/c via trade/free agency (perhaps trading one of our pg's to phoenix for the likes of Robin Lopez).

    if you apply our winning percentage from last year (58.5%), and apply it to this season, you get a record of 39-27. we haven't lost our core group and we should be a very healthy team coming into the season (Oden could be back within a matter of weeks from the start of the season). i'm saying 41-25; 4th seed, and we advance to the conference semis, before losing in a seven-game series.

    Considering the minutes our players are usually subjected to, I like 66 games (not that I'm thrilled to see less basketball). A less tired LaMarcus and Wesley in the playoffs? Yes please.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
