UPDATE: With an overwhelming majority (thanks in large part to our friends and fans on Facebook) the January 6, 1989 game against the Sacramento Kings will be this week's Buffalo Wild Wings Rip City Classic. All local Buffalo Wild Wings will play the winning game starting Wednesday at 7 PM.

The Portland Trail Blazers and corporate partner Buffalo Wild Wings have teamed up to give fans the opportunity to gather and watch classic games from the team’s rich heritage.

Starting Wednesday, Nov. 9, seven Portland Metro-area Buffalo Wild Wings locations will simultaneously air select Trail Blazers games every Wednesday for six weeks. The games will be voted on by fans each week at starting today, with polls closing on Mondays. The winning game will then be announced on Trail Blazers Courtside on Monday nights. Go here for more information and locations of participating Buffalo Wild Wings.

For our second Rip City Classics, we're looking at some of the great individual performances in Trail Blazers history. We all know that basketball is a team game, but sometimes winning and losing can come down to the performance of one player, and how they react to that situation can change the course of a franchise for years to come. So jumped into the way back machine to look at some of the best singular performances in Rip City history.

Now it is time for you to decided. You've got four options to choose from and you can vote as many times as you are able for the game you would like to see played in its entirety at seven participating Buffalo Wild Wings. Voting is set to end right before Trail Blazers Courtside airs Monday night at 6 PM.

One last thing. Fear not if the game you want to see played doesn't win the vote this week. The "second place" videos from the first five weeks will comprise the voting options for the sixth and final Rip City Classic game. Sort of like the wild card race.

And now, your options for the first game of the Buffalo Wild Wings Rip City Classics. Vote for the game you would most like to see from the following:

March 15, 1981: Dallas Mavericks vs. Portland Trail Blazers at Memorial Coliseum
Billy Ray Bates is arguably the best individual talent to ever play for the Trail Blazers. That's not to say he was the best Trail Blazer, or even the best basketball player in Rip City history, but his ability to put the ball in the basket is rivaled by few, if any. In this game, played during his second season out of Kentucky State University, Bates came off the bench to score 35 points, one of the all-time performances for a sub in Trail Blazers history.

February 12, 1988: Denver Nuggets at Portland Trail Blazers at Memorial Coliseum
The nucleus that would carry the Trail Blazers to two NBA Finals in three years started to form in the late 80's. Clyde Drexler was already on the brink of super stardom, Terry Porter was slotted in as the team's leader at point guard and a young Kevin Duckworth was coming into his own as an talented offensive 7-footer. All that was missing was the scrapper. The "glue guy." It was Jerome Kersey who would eventually fill that role, and his breakout 34-point, 20-rebound game against Denver could be considered the beginning of Portland's "championship window."

January 6, 1989: Sacramento Kings vs. Portland Trail Blazers at Memorial Coliseum
Despite their 7-21 record, the Kings gave the Trail Blazers all their could handle at the Glass Palace in this double overtime thriller. Portland recieved impressive performances from most of their starters, but it was the 50-spot put up by a 26 year-old guard named Clyde Drexler that allowed the Trail Blazers to protect their home court in the winter of 1989. Thirty points from the late Kevin Duckworth played no small part as well.

February 9, 1992: NBA All-Star Game at Orlando Arena
Most will remember the 1992 All-Star Game in Orlando as the game in which Magic Johnson was awarded MVP after memorable one-one-one matchups (literally) with the likes of Michael Jordan and Isaih Thomas after announcing he contracted HIV. But Portlanders probably remember the game for Clyde Drexler's 22-point, nine-rebound, six-assist MVP-caliber performance. Of course you can't fault Magic, the sentimental favorite, for winning the honor, but we can still pay homage to Drexler's All-Star brilliance nearly 20 years later.

How have I never seen the game that Clyde goes off for 50?! Easy choice for me. Also, those Kings jerseys were VINTAGE 80's! Names underneath the numbers on the back? Classy.

its weird i voted knwoing well ive neevr seen any of those games, its funny how im a blazer fan now after fighting for so long. i tell you a game where i went to, i saved for a while just to pick up some nose bleed seats. yes nose bleed seats, i didnt have much money and still dont. but i try to catch a game here and there. but i saved up to see my pacers vs the blazers. it was around 2002, and it wasnt a great scoring game it was close i think the ending was 88-84 blazers won, but it was how they won. the ending 2 mins came down to reggie miller and damon stoudimire three point clutch shots. reggie hits one damon comes back reggie hits again and damon comes right back at you reggie misses damon hits the nail on the coffen foul and game.. just goes to show you does matter how much will praise drive you have, when your in the rose garden its you vs the whole stadium everyone at home, cuz when you go against the blazers you fighting the best fan base the strongest heart of the nba. i fought it for soo long online to give and and let it consume me, engolf me like quick sand. ive neevr looked back but to look back with rose colored glasses. i was fighting a unbeatable wall... with these fans the will and heart this city has you cant see why we dont let a game go we dont dont drop our hearts we fight right beside each player til the end.. im a blazer fan and i can say the rose garden is OUR HOUSE

See the 92 All-Star Game plenty of times on NBATV this summer. I want to see Jerome's breakout performance! I'm so glad he eventually won that starting SF position from Kiki.

I have a feeling we'll see a lot more Clyde in these matchups so I went with a chance to see Jerome dominate. 34 points and 20 rebounds is no joke.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
