Marcus Camby was arrested earlier this month for marijuana possession, his cousin said it was his but the cops still charged Camby. The charges were dropped. The problem is that it is illegal and a stigma has been attached to it. I think if it were legal people would not deal it as much as they do, the government could make money off of it, many people who are criminals only due to marijuana possession could be let out of prison thus creating room for true criminals. Personally I think alcohol is much more dangerous then weed, but I'm in the silent majority. (not so silent)

Drugs are bad, but marijuana is not as horrible as alcohol, I agree. I have a friend that used it to treat cancer, and by all accounts, he said it helped. He is now cancer free.

I was shocked but I am sure he is not the only player that fires one up in the off season. Just glad it's the only incident in recent years and hopefully it will be the last of any off the court problems. I still support Camby, hopefully.

Tim Lincecum, Michael Phelps, Josh Howard, Marcus Camby, these are all very successful athletes who have been caught using marijuana in the off season. They are still highly successful  and use it responsibly. Yet they get worse publicity than players who go out and get drunk and get in altercations at strip clubs, its sad.

don't forget another recent Blazer on the list of successful atheletes who also partakes in recreational marijuana use and was recently caught, Mr. Dante Cunningham

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
