Ok so I notice that on our home jerseys the trim is called scarlet, to me it's kind of a dark pinkish red. I like that color. But on our road jerseys, we are almost like a Chicago Bull orangish-red? Why, I think it would look better with the same scarlet red color that's on our home trim. Or are my eyes, just deceiving me?

This really stands out when you play the Blazers in video games (NBA 2k11). The home court is like bright orange. The jerseys are red, scarlet, or orangish red (depending on the jersey) and it clashes. It looks way worse in the game than real life but it's still noticeable.

    Thanks

In other words (sorry for the double post here), the 1977-1991 home jerseys don't match the current home court very well. I love those jerseys and it just bothers me. I didn't mind the addition of silver in recent years but the traditional Blazers color scheme seems like it should be pretty simple, but it's really not.

We have our own jerseys in the office (mine is red, while others have the road black). Look at them side by side I think you have a point. The road red trim is more scarlet while the away reds do feel like they have a slight orange tint to them. Hope that helps!

the red on your logo and the red on my avatar are a pretty good example of this. I want to see a road jersey that's your color of red, but I fear we may come off looking like the Miami Heat. Just bring back the red jerseys from 77-91 and i will be happy (with longer shorts).

I agree with you Bull Frog. I'd like to go back to the old school red as well as the early 90's kits! Longer shorts is ok, but I miss the compression shorts Buck, Cliff and Jerome would wear with "Blazers" written at the bottom of them. It looked rad with the high top sneakers and socks that read "Blazers" as well!

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
