    Patty Mills - Remember me?

Patty is blowing out the cobwebs playing for Australia in a pre-Olympic qualifying tournament in London which includes teams from France, Croatia, Serbia, China and Great Britain with all teams featuring NBA listed players; Batum is playing for France.

With the exception of the game against China where Patty did not suit up, Patty has put up some impressive numbers.

In the first game against a NBA filled French team (Parker, Noah, Batum, Diaw, Turiaf,Seraphin,) Australia went down in a close one 71-67. Patty matched up well against Parker scoring 20 points in 27 minutes shooting at 40%FG and 36%3PT with Parker scoring 27 and Batum 16 points.

In Patty's second game against European powerhouse Croatia, Patty had 22 points in 28 minutes to lead all scorers in a 78-66 win for the Aussies. Patty shot at a solid clip of 46%FG and 40%3PT 3 assists and 1 steal.

Patty's third game was a quieter one where Australia defeated Serbia 78-69.  In this game Patty was used sparingly for team chemistry reasons and had 9 points (40%FG) 2 assists in 21 minutes of court time. The Final game will be against Luol Deng's Great Britain team with a potential rematch for Patty  against the French team.

    FYI

it is good that he is scoring, but i wish i could have seen some more assist in there too.. he can't have completely terrible players around him.

    Come on !!

There are plenty of "big names" in the NBA who don't give out assists or help on D ! give the little guy a break ?

why can't anyone give the guy a little credit ?  we are all big boys Diablo ...... and if you can't create your own scoring option and soley rely on others to do so for you ...well maybe those players arn't as good as everyone thinks they are ?!? SHOCK HORROR ;)

I am a fan of court time !

I support Patty. He seems like a GREAT person. I like his shot too, it's smooth! I thinks it's a great thing he looks out for his homeland.

I watched Shabazz at the combine and he was a poor shooter.  In fact he did  so bad he did not even show up for drills in day two.  He may be a scorer not a shooter.  If he throws up enough shots he scores.  If someone looks a...

I would agree LMA is a decent defender but his help defense and team defense needs a lot of work. It is in these areas that Bosh really separates himself from LMA and it is because of that he is a better player than LMA despite not putting the sam...

I was looking at some shooting stats and came across a very very alarming stat. LMA was the league leader in FGA from 16-23 feet. Not only was he the leader he was lead by a mile. His 7.3 attempts from this distance easily outpaced Demar Derozan w...

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...
