Who would be your favorite team? I know most of us would say, "I wouldn't follow the NBA!" And, even if true, just play along.

Since I grew up with the NBA in the late 80's, a few teams come to mind. First, the Golden State Warriors. I loved watching those RUN TMC days and they have continued to play that run and gun style today. Second would be the San Antonio Spurs. I loved David Robinson and they are a first-class organization.  So I would probably chose between those two squads.

I honestly have no idea how i became a Blazers fan. i guess because i was born in Albany? (but i live in Cali) all my other favorite sports team are in Wisconsin. Packers defending champs been a fan since i was 5. Brewers up and coming team i have liked ever since i became a hardcore sports fan. about 5 years ago. so i would most likely be a Bucks fan. but this Blazers team is so attracting to me that i can't imagine being a fan for any other team. Brandon Roy the All Star leading the team, Lamarcus Aldridge the up and coming All Star and Greg Oden the future of NBA center. Whats not to love? but the injuries have taken their toll on rip city and lately the mood has been down then a trade happens and the team is fired up because they just got a new high flyer to help the team win in Gerald Wallace then draft day comes and they get a veteran PG who is starting to play like an All Star and the city knows that some day soon Portland will be the town hosting the parade for the NBA Champions. MAN I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!!!!!
I am a fan of the Portland Trailblazers

I like the underdog and I live in LA so I would have to say the Clippers. I hate the Lake Show "Lakers" to many under the table deals like "Gasol" who on paper they got for nothing! how is that possible?

The "BUCKAROOS!". I do believe I am telling my age with that one. Since we are just talking basketball I would have to say the Sonics since they were in the same area and came out at the same time. Honestly though I might not have gotten into basketball if Portland did not have a team.

     I wouldn't follow the NBA!
does that mean you just like the team, and the colors and not the sport?
because if there was no blazers the players would still be in circulation just on different teams.

and there are other teams with the same colors....
I am a fan of The Blazers ♂, the £-Train, and of course, The ¤ King. ™

I would venture to guess that a disproportionately large percentage of this fanbase, myself included, does pull for the underdog.  This Blazer franchise has never been anything but, even in '77.  Ofcourse, much of that comes with being in a small market.  That being the case, I don't know that I would back any team for a lengthly amount of time.

I support this team not just because they are our hometown heroes.  I respect the direction of this franchise, especially with regard to where their priorities have been placed as of late.

Last season, I was impressed with Memphis.  If pinned to an answer now, I would say the Grizz.  Small market team seemingly doing things the right way.  I also enjoyed watching them play, with that inside-out offense and gritty D.

I am a fan of players that play with PASSION and PRIDE

i liked grizzlies this year, was fun to watch them in playoffs, wanted them to go all the way once the blazers were done. i enjoyed golden state back when they beat dallas in the first round but havent enjoyed them since. I liked celtics last couple of years but primarily because i've always been a KG fan and a fan of any team that can beat the lakers. though if they never existed id probably be a bulls fan as i was a bulls fan before converting to blazermania (blush)

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.

Nah, Washington would just sign him themselves, save them a pick. Also, no way JJ is worth a lottery pick. Oladipo would be great, for pretty much any team in the NBA. I don''t think it''s possible to get him though. Should focus on getting a defe...

Jermaine O''Neal, Drazen, Z-Bo, Sheed (I know he was already a star but still). Also Drazen was buried under Drexler and Porter.

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
