Alright, Smith is a rookie and hasn't proved anything yet.. BUT you watch some of his highlight videos and you saw what he did for duke when Irving was hurt.. Does he have enough upside to dethrone felton for the starting job?? Or will Armon improve his decesion making and shooting to get it? In my opnion, mills and armon will never have a shot at #1 PG. I do believe Smith has a great chance to improve this year and make felton take the second seat. Smith is bigger, better defensively, shoots better, and a better leader down the road. The only thing felton has on him now is experience and speed.

Who do you think is better suited to run the blazers PG spot out of our roster::  Felton, Smith, Roy, Armon, or mills??

Felton by far. smith hasnt had a chance to even play in the NBA and you think he might be better than what felton did with the knicks? smith might have a horrible time transitioning into the NBA. felton how ever has some well not some a lot of experience with wallace and can help portland be more run and gun. this roster is athletic and can run the floor great but when they cant get the break they can play great half court ball as well which i think felton will help since he can shoot the ball better than dre. also i think patty will be back up PG and smith will eventually go to d-league just my opinion though.

Felton thinks he's coming in to save the day!  He's here for one year.  We are going after D. Williams next year! Smith will have to learn the NBA game before he gets comfortable leading this team, therefore look for Nate to use Patty as the backup if you want to keep the pace up.

Now about the lockout!  The lockout sucks for fans!  We have no way of showing the NBA are dislike for the standoff.

Felton is the obvious choice at starting point guard, but It seems that you have forgot about Elliot Williams the point from memphis... http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2011/03/trail_blazers_rookie_elliot_wi.html  It would appear that Williams is ready to play and I would prefer his 48 inch vertical to Nolan Smith, Mills and Armon.  (And out of those three I would stick with Armon over Nolan and patty)

I forgot he played PG, i thought he was a SG.. Now even though he has knee issues, I like the idea of keeping him around mainly because his injury is different and isn't a permanent problem like roy and oden. this is something he can recover mostly from. Him at back up PG isn't a bad idea. BUT what can we get in a trade that sends away at patty or armon?? maybe a backup big?? i looked at some possiblities if we just traded one of them straight up and some options are Hilton Armstrong, Kwame Brown, and Solomon Alabi. None of them are stars, none will automatically come in and give us a championships, but they are roll players that fill minutes like chris johnson has been doing so well. Maybe even resign jeff pendergraph..

    what happens if you win?
is felton that expendable....And DMW with that whole Jerry Sloan fit, do you really want him there?
I mean Derron is great, but he seems a little prissy, a drama queen.

The lockout does suck, but it still doesnt change the fact that 23 out of 30 teams were recorded as "unprofitable" last season......
so i would say maybe buy more merchandise, eat more food, and go to more games......just dont charge for online membership.... :D

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
