Now that the 2011-12 schedule has been released (Click HERE to view schedule), what are the games you can't miss? What stretch of the season could be trouble for Portland? Is there a stretch where they can make up some ground? Also, for an in-depth look at the schedule, Mike Barrett breaks it down HERE!

On a negative note, we only get the Mavericks and the Lakers in the Rose garden once this season. On the positive side of things, no more back-to-backs in Denver!

Isn't that the truth.  Don't know if I like the two road trips with the six and seven game stretch. That seems a bit out of the ordinary.
I am a fan of looking forward to the future and the 2012-13 season. Bring back JJ!!

Ditto on the back to backs.  When I heard we were playing Denver, I was kinda hoping it'd be an away game so that we didn't have to play on the back to back.  Either way, it worked.  We should give Dre a standing ovation though.

I actually think this is a favorable schedule.  Problem is, there aren't any really bad teams anymore, except Minnesota because they only stat pad, but things change in the season.  Last season it was like, "New Orleans?  Ffs, that'll be a breeze".  It was also like, "Utah?  Crap that's going to be tough".  Yet, we went 1-3 against NOH, and 3-1 against Utah.  If you asked me before last season, I'd have said it would go the other way around.

Also depends strictly on the Blazers.  Do we have a promising future?  We can beat any team any night.  There really is no more "oh we're likely going to lose this game" thoughts, at least in my head.  So, it's hard to determine the schedule when there's a lockout, teams change, your teams good, and how the players are doing.

Also, going back from last years teams, a lot of our "brutal" road trips are against .500 or below teams, with maybe one "elite" team thrown in the mix.  So, I'm not too concerned, and I think the Blazers have a good shot at getting 4+ seed this year.

After watching this team the past few years I'm not concern about the regular season because we always seems to find a way to get to the playoffs but this season I'm looking to see if this team is good enough to make it past the first round or are we just a good regular season team.

Rumors have shown that the Rockets are very interested in Dwight Howard and that the interest is mutual.

    I''d trade for Asik.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.

Well, I still think he won''t do great in his career. Seems weak.
