    Read this analysis of Ramon Sessions by Jon Hollinger on ESPN.com:

    http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/players/hollinger?playerId=3231

    Doesn't he make sense for our team at this point? I know I have (repeatedly, over and over to the point of annoyance) expounded upon why I think Stephon Curry is our PG of the Future. But i think Sessions would be another fine option for [blank] reasons:

    1. He's a FA, and will probably not be resigned by Milwaukee;
    2. The Blazers are one of precious few teams who have significant cap space this offseason, and;
    3. Many have been calling for this team to not get younger, but bring in a veteran until Bayless matures.

    Here's why this works:

    The Bucks have two key FA's this year: Charlie Villanueva and Sessions. Villanueva is 24, Sessions 23. The wide perception is that they only have the cap space to sign one of them. Which one they resign largely depends on who they draft with the No. 10 pick. This draft is flush with good, quality PG's and very weak on quality PF's. So common sense says they hold onto the No. 10 pick, draft a PG, and resign their PF.

    That leaves Sessions as a FA. We have the need at PG (it has to be improved), and the cap space to spend on him. In this down economy, the Blazers are one of the few teams that sell out games on a consistent basis so they don't have to worry about revenue sources. He's not a rookie PG, and has played well at the NBA level. However, he's also only 23, and can grow with the Blazers and be Roy's backcourt mate for years to come. He also has the size to guard PG's and get through screens. It just remains to be seen if other teams are going to be out bidding us for him.

    Of course, all of this is moot if the Bucks resign him.
    I am a fan of B-Roy changing EVERYTHING.

    sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
