Does One of the Richest Men in the World really need to participate in an NBA Lockout? We fans subsidize the Owners with tax breaks, We pay for state of the art stadiums, we pay inflated concessions prices. All this isn't enough, now they need to lock the players out? Why not lock the Owners out. Surely they could sit down and keep negotiating, as many do without this tactic. Does Paul Allen really need a dozen of the worlds fanciest yachts? Then surely he should be able to rise above this nonsense and do some good faith bargaining!

The problem is not the owners. I see it as players being too greedy as they are already being paid more then anyone deserves just to entertain by playing a game. I say start a new league with a hard cap and individual caps per player per team and watch how many players are willing to play basketball for much less then they make now rather then joining the workforce like the rest of us, let alone finishing school and getting a degree.

Mark Cuban had to guy buy the Wizards starting lineup (minus Gilbert Arenas) to win a championship. The NBA wants all 30 teams to be competitive my ars!

the owners are just as greedy, they just look nicer when doing so.......

similar to what you are saying, they should just set a limit, FOR ALL SPORTS, that no on athlete can make more than 80 million over 4 years....

that is untill conjoined twins start become athletic phenoms, then we can rewrite the formula....

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
