Does anyone know how much the Blazers are paying to the players that goes against the salary cap.  I would also be interested in the other teams.  I seem to recall there is a website that describes all teams financial obligations.  I was reading about the firm salary cap and it looks like the blazers will have little wiggle room to sign other players.  I think the cap is around 45 mil.

I found the salaries under "Portland Trail Blazers player salaries".  The other teams can be reached on the same site.  With Portland's salaries at 69mil, Lakers salaries at 91mil, Boston's salaries at around 80mil how are these teams supposed to get under a hard cap of 45mil.

The current cap is 58mil but the luxury tax does not go into effect until you exceed 72mil.  I  am guessing at how this whole thing works.  Nobody else seems to be interested in this.

Interesting find here. I do not think that the 45 mill is what most of the teams want. in fact I think that is what Sacremento has (lowest in the league) I thought they were looking at the cap being around 68-72 million range. with a bit of flex for 3 years so the teams could wiggle around without having to cut their rosters immeadiatly.

sign Iggy for 8-9M, Batum at the two, and Wesley off the bench! Draft Steven Adams (who loves contact, grew up playing rug-bee). Sounds NICE!

Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
