I like our chances. The fact that Raymond and Wallace played together in Charlotte makes me a little more optimistic as to the cohesion that we can expect to see next season. Im certainly starting to like the sound of Felton, Matthews,Wallace, Aldridge & Oden.

    *Smith,Roy,Batum,Johnson, & Camby.

    *Williams.

Drop the Camby and Roy and it sounds even better with a Gasol or Chandler.

Let's be real.  This is Aldridge's team now.  Does it matter that a rookie guard who hasn't played a game as a pro has chemistry with a first year guard who also hasn't yet played a game as a pro, if LA and Felton don't develop the chemistry that Dre and LA had?  Patty and Rudy had a much publicized bond too, but I doubt that equated into any wins.  This team's fortunes still rest with LA and Oden being healthy.  We can only hope Dre's replacement understands this the way Miller did.

If last season taught us all one thing, it should have been patience.  Wallace is, by all accounts, an all-star yet wasn't playing at his usual all-star level even into the post-season.  Even Wallace needs more time than the latter half of the season to acclimate himself with his new team.  Can we really expect different from Felton?  Where does that leave the "Win Now" philosophy?

Long term I like the deal, but short term I believe the goal of the organization to be a bit lofty.  Time will tell and I would love nothing better than to be wrong.

I made this same point about Steve Blake and Juan Dixon when they played for us. The assumption then was that because they won a championship together at Maryland, that it would translate into them bringing that mentality to our squad. It did not, although i hated to see Steve Blake go also.

I think that sounds like a killer lineup.  My biggest concerns would be if Smith can handle it, and if Canby and Oden's bodies hold up.  I think we must have a plan to get one more big guy somehow.

Very slim pickings at the pivot position. Nene' would be perfect. Id give up Camby's expiring contract,Babbitt,Patty,Armon, and a second round pick. Oh yeah, throw in the 40 year old Ngombo with the false birth certificate.

Felton is the ONLY reason the Knicks thrived early in the season, and part of the reason they looked so disorganized after the trade, he settled down a nervous team that weren't use to playing together, and he got his star player easy baskets early in the game to get him going. I hate east coast teams, but i really respected Felton this last year when he was on the knicks, and he improves every year. Aldridge is a great player, and Nate is a great fundamentals coach, these guys will figure out how to play together, all we need from Aldridge is 20-8-4 a night with this talented team, and Aldridge is going to keep working on passing out of the double teams, so 3-4 assists a game is something we can maybe expect to see with more shooters and movers around L.A.

I would NOT be a fan of the team if any of those two were on the team.  We finally got rid of our floppers, let's not add more.

Blazers gonna be so good next year, rest of the teams wanna quit

Sure hope there's not a nasty NBA strike, when that happened years ago, those 3 months dragged on faster then anyone could've imagined. Especially up here. All that rain and no Blazer basketball, made the days seem all the more dreary.

Or...the bench could be Nolan,Roy,Batum,Pendergraph, and Johnson. We've got options now, but we still need to handle our shortage of bigs.

oh...thats right..... they totally did play together.
that might work in this teams advantage.....

Batum on the bench though.....its like......buying a stingray corvette, just to never drive it....

I think there's a lot more weight in the Felton-Wallace experience than the Smith-Williams experience. Players that played together in college rarely figure out how to translate that chemistry into NBA gameplay. Felton and Wallace have already done the fast break and alley-oop together in the NBA. I think it's a good thing.

I guess Batum would be a good fit since Ilysavoa plays 4 more than the 3, which I didnt know lol

I think this would be a really good deal for Bucks then. They can draft Dieng with the 10 and maybe Franklin with their pick.

You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.
