Post your favorite Rudy memory, thank him for is three seasons in Rip City or wish him well in Dallas. Personally, I have a couple Rudy memories that stick out. The first is the 5 points in 2.3 seconds against Phoenix in 2009. The hustle to get the layup then bait the inbounds passer into making that throw and picking it off and still have time to knock down the 3? The RG was going nuts. I also loved his steal against Dallas in the regular season which he looked like a long jumper down the sidelines and fed it to LA for the massive dunk! Finally, there was a play this year, against Dallas too I think, he dove into the crowd for a loose ball while the Dallas player stood there and watched and he fed it to GW for the slam. Best of luck in Dallas Rudy, just not against us!

My favorite memory was last night when he got traded.  Na jk, although I will admit his little ordeal over last season made it a ton of a lot easier to let him go.  Add the fact he constantly degraded, and it was simple.

I guess my favorite memory was that same 5 point play.  I was there.  Was a great game.  It wasn't the clinching game, but it basically stapled the two pages together and said "portland was in the playoffs".  When I saw the three pointer, I didn't know he got it off in time, so my excitement wasn't as big as some peoples (I was at the RG).  Then I heard Mark Mason say, "Rudy for 3!" or whatever and was jumping for joy seeing we were about 30 points ahead and got free chalupas at the end of the 3rd quarter.  It was also a great game seeing Shaq and Oden battle it out.

I'd say good luck in Dallas, but I hate Dallas.  So... waste their time at the 2 position like you did for us Rudy.  Adios.

It was game 3 against Phoenix last year when we got absolutely man handled by Jason Richardson. However, Rudy came in and hit three consecutive three pointers to get it to a respectable distance, but those three three pointers got the Rose Garden going wild. I was in the highest row possible and I look over and my friend Mark is basically chewing through his red mini towel everyone got and his on top of his chair going crazy. Out of all the Blazers games I've went through that has to be one of my favorite moments even though it was a loss and it wouldn't have happened if Rudy didn't hit those shots. I know your production lacked the last two years but it was still fun to watch you play.

P.S. You got screwed over in the dunk contest.

Seguirem la teva màgia allà on siguis!!! :-)

Don't go outside for very long when it's 120 degrees down there Rudy. Stay inside and park yourself next to the AC. Ain't no man can hold up for long in that nasty, sweltery heat in Dallas. You might be glad to get away from our swampy, cold and cruddy rain up here Rudy, but just be careful in that furnace cooker in the middle of Texas.

Oh ya, basketball... win a ring next year, but you'll have to stomp your old buddies to get it!

I was there for that crazyu play against the clippers when he intercepted a pass ran down the court, lost the ball turning into and knocking down Matthews, running across the court, intercepting another pass, jumped over Aldridge who had also fallen down then layed it up and scored.  I will miss his crazy bursts of energy!

Sorry the entirety of Portland turned their backs on you for your slump, Rudy. We definitely need to move forward, but I hope you fit better into Carlisle's system. Light it up with Peja there... until Brandon, Wesley or Nic are guarding you, then you can brick whatever you want.

Rudy was a fan favourite and it's sad to see him go but he simply wasn't good enough. It frees up minutes of the bench for Batum and Roy so it was a good trade for us.

All i know is, is that if Rudy starts to whine again there, Dallas is going to pull out all the stops to try to get Patty Mills to calm his ass down.

I wrote this again I am really sad that Rudy is going away but from year to year He play worse. I don't know why but his time is Portland is over, so Good Luck. I will miss YOU.

The best season was his first with Sergio Rodrigues who made a lot of assists to Rudy.

"His ordeal last summer" oh, the one the media spoon fed you, purely to create a story, yeah that was a good story. Moving on.

Will miss the out of nowhere baseline ally-oops.

Playoffs vs Houston, final game. Rudy could not miss from 3. Was strangely pulled, Blazers lose. I was convinced he was not missing if left in, the Blazers would have won.

Congrats Dallas you got a good young player for nothing. Good work Portland!

I enjoyed watching him play, when he was doing well he actually LOOKED like he was having fun (which was something I always liked about Juwan also, he LOOKED like he was enjoying himself), but his whining at the start of the season was NOT attractive, and the fans and the team don't need someone here who doesn't want to be here

It wasn't the same for Rudy as soon as Sergio was gone. Hopefully he won't look like Peja in his prime while he plays for Dallas.

^^^I agree 100%.  Say what you will about Fernandez and his lack of statistical contributions, I choose to
remember Rudy's energy and enthusiasm.  Rudy found a way to have an impact when the shots weren't
falling, effecting pace and even increasing his defensive intensity, making significant strides at that
that end of the floor.  I will miss the passion Rudy brought.

         Keep it positive.
