Love the guy.  I never knew much about him until he became a Blazer, and quickly became one of my favorites.  Really wish we could have gotten him out of the first round for the first time in his career.  He won't have much troubles in Denver accomplishing that goal I think.  Best of luck Dre, you'll always be welcomed in Portland.

Andre was and is one of my all time favorite Blazers as well. He gave it all and pulled us through alot of tough times. Without him, we don't make the playoffs the last two simple as that. Thank you Dre and best of luck to you with your new team!

Got to love that body check into Griffen to show that  NEANDRETHAL that messin with the little guys will have reprecussions. That and the fake timeout to the SLOWBREAK bucket man that was classic. I will miss you on our team you made everyone a better player.

I was one of the first guys to get excited when I heard we got him. I was wondering what that would mean for Blake. I watched him in Denver and the 76's. I remember him lighting us up in both places. He's going to do that to us again. I'm gonna pick up one of his jerseys in protest. He is and was one of my favorite Blazers all time.

There were times he might have frustrated me, but damn, he was like the Farve of the NBA, never missed a game, and that suspension was totall Bulls**t.  If blake griffin wasn't such a punk ass Dre wouldn't have had to to waterboy his ass over, which by the way I still youtube and watch.  And then possibly the greatest play ever, the fake timeout. I remember the first time we saw it. We were sitting the garage...or man cave....watching the game and he busted it out. A collective "WTF?" was uttered then followed by laughter. The man was truly a crafty veteran, and he had some moves left in him to. And how about how he discovered his 3pt shot in the playoffs, or the few times he tried to pack the ball. Thanks for hanging out with us Dre, and hope you dont mind if we still use the fake timeout...

barnettfan said it best.  Dre, your ability at the point to make everyone else around you better will be SORELY missed.  Your leadership both on and OFF the court was undeniable and invaluable.  Thank you for your commitment and dedication and for being the type of player and person who parked his car with everyone else at the RG, NOT down in the player lot with the rest of the team.  Truly genuine.  Thank you.

I will continue to be a fan and follow your play wherever you land.  Rest assured, I will have a date with my flatscreen when the Clips play your either gym!

A lot of people will remember the 52 point game, but I'll never forget the 30+ pt performance in Game 1 against Phoenix to help us steal one on the road. On a lighter note, watching him do jumping jacks on the sideline as Roy took over Game 4 was about as good as it got. We'll miss ya Dre! Thanks for everything & best of luck in Denver 78 times a year.

Gotta love Dre! His cool level headed play - great work ethics - only missed one game - due to the 'Golden Child' Griffin!!!!! My best memory off the floor was when he came in on his birthday for the game and I had put the Rip City Magazines out to spell DRE - he turned and smiled and said thanks - when i wished him Happy Birthday he was kinda shocked and said wow cool - thanks a lot! :) Will Miss him and greet him with cheers when he comes to play in the RG -

I loved how, when things looked grim and the team was starting to hang heads, Dre would lower his head and just charge the basket like a bull, slipping right past the other team to score. It was as if he was constantly reminding his teammates, this is how you do it. I wish they'd paid more attention - they might have gone further. Bum luck hitting a fantastic Dallas team in the playoffs. Who knew, at the time, the Lakers might have been the easier pick? I feel Dre has unfairly been made to pay when in fact he's the one who helped us get as far as we did. I'll miss him, and will cheer him on as a Nugget. He's a gem, indeed. I hope they treat him with the respect he deserves.
I am a fan of EVERY Blazer because they all fight hard and all have talent. I especially love Aldridge, Lillard, Batum, Matthews, Hickson and Meyers.

Thank you for all of your hard work here in Portland Andre. I think at times some people forgot about you because of others being in the spotlight - and you seem to be a more understated player. Your skills on the court are unquestionable - especially your basketball IQ. You have the knack for creating plays for your teammates and generally improving those around you. It is always a treat when you are caught cracking a smile! It is hard to not respect you as a player and a person, you bring a lot to the table and you will indeed be sorely missed once the season gets underway. Best of luck to you at your new home!

So the 52-point game against Dallas, the faked time out, reminding Blake Griffin who was boss, and who could forget that amazing inbound lob to Batum for the buzzer-beating victory over the Spurs in the playoffs? Oh, how I miss Andre Miller already!

Andre Miller. You are a singular player and person. I know you have never felt that your true value and worth to the game of basketball has been really appreciated or recognized. I hope that you know how very much the players of the Portland Trailblazers respected you, and valued you, especially Lamarcus. I have to admit, there were times when I felt you should be traded during your first season here, and the first part of this last season. After hearing Lamarcus give a radio interview, and GUSH about your abilities on the floor, I realized how much you do for the guys on the team. Now, even though I suspected you would actually be traded this time, I am really, really sorry to see you go. I don't think it was necessary, not yet. And I believe it will come back to haunt this organization, and unfortunately its fans, down the road. Cause it wasn't the right thing to do. I like Felton, he's alright. I think he will be okay here, and of course, he is younger. But believe me, had it been up to the fans, and probably the players, you would still be in Red and Black come October 2011 :(

Much love and respect to an old-school guy that seriously knows how to keep it real. Best part of this is that I have even more of a reason to root for our Division Rivals, the Denver Nuggets! (They've been a favorite of mine in the Western Conference for awhile now) Only when the Blazers aren't playing them of course :)

Dre, I will miss you. You were, by far, my favorite Blazer. A true team player, you worked tirelessly to support your teammates and help them succeed -- even when you weren't being recognized for your hard work. You understand the importance of stepping out of the limelight to let others shine -- a quality that far too many players lack. Losing you is a huge loss for Portland. I wish you the best with the Nuggets and I you hope you've landed with a team whose leadership truly values your contributions and understands the sheer magnitude of your wisdom, skill, talent and commitment. PS: Colorado has better weather, so there's that.

Andre was one of those people where he was so devoid of emotion at times when younger players wore their emotions on their sleeves, but when Andre did get emotional, whether it be 30 minute yelling match with coach, or waving towels in the air and jumping up and down on your teamates like he did in game 4, it made you notice it and appreciate it more, wish we could have gotten to the finals with miller, these are the type of people that need to be in the Hall of Fame, a championship would have only solidified that.
