    :) 60/40 minimum
Nelson running the point necessitates teams defend Portland differently and negates the quick double downs on LA.  Jameer also happens to be the same age as the already existing Blazer core.  He prefers to run, a style that suits Aldridge Wesley and Wallace, and has obviously been accustomed to feeding the ball down to a dominant low post presence (GO moving forward).  He also creates with the bounce, which, by itself sells me on the deal.

Other than giving up some of our potential to land Faried, this deal is extremely attractive as it has Portland keeping their most valuable asset in Batum while addressing their need at that PG position.

I'm iffy on this. Giving up miller and a pick for a 2nd tier pg is questionable to me... maybe more to this one

I agree, I am not sold on Nelson as a PG to help the Blazers and losing the chase to get a rookie to develop that can be better then Nelson
I am a fan of great sports plays and the true players.

I think we could do a lot better if we're trading Dre.  Maybe if they include Howard in the deal... :P  na jk.  But I'd like to see us actively looking for better point guards than Felton and Nelson.  Maybe knock on the Spurs door again?

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
