“My desire is to stay with the Lakers. I don’t have control over it but I want to stay with the Lakers for as many years as I can to be able to remain eligible for the maximum possible championships,” Gasol told reporters in the northeastern city of Alicante.

Are you guys buying this? Is Gasol just saying the right things or do you think he genuinely wants to return to the Lakers next season? Personally, I think he'd prefer a different scenario but from most accounts he's a class guy and won't say anything too negative. The Wolves have said to be after him but LA scoffed at that idea so his name still comes up in trade rumors. Will he get moved before the start of the season? It's probably a toss up right now and LA probably has him marked up quite highly in terms of value despite the lackluster playoff performance.

I could envision a Gasol/Bosh deal.  Both teams would appear to improve, with the Heat gaining what they lack most...a quality big who scores primarily in the paint.  The Lakers meanwhile, grab Bosh, a player whose skillset better compliments that of Bynum.

    To be honest....
There is no Way Gasol or LA want to part ways.
Kobe Bryant is like the assistant to the GM down here, if he likes or dislikes someone they stay or get canned, and Kobe is down for the Spaniard.
With the Addition of Mike Brown and his previous experience with winning a championship in san antonio with duncan and robinson ( two huge guys ) he may like to see what he can do with Gasol and Bynum ( two other huge guys ).
Brown is a defensive specialist, so he will need all the help he can get on offense ( without the help of LeBron ha) so i dont doubt Gasol will stay.

And any of those Rumors that circulated after LA lost to dallas that stated " Gasol was going through a break up with his girlfriend" thats why he was playing so horribly. or that " shannon brown steals gasol's girl", all are untrue. Los Angeles just has some creative yet extremely bored writers, if ya'll had that kind of talent just sittin around in portland maybe Aldridge would of got a girlfriend story for his lack of play in the playoffs...

    Gasol stays.....greg oden goes...

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
