There have been a lot of rumors about a possible Utah-Portland trade. What about this scenario.
This might seem un-realistic but keep in mind, Utah is in a rebuilding state.

     Blazers trade

     Miller
     Batum
     Camby
     Armon Johnson
     # 21

     Utah Trades

     Milsap
     Harris
     CJ. miles( sign and trade)
     # 4th pick (Walker)

utah in their rebuilding stage let Andre go, Camby will retire, Fernandez will will go back to spain ( buyout) That leaves them with 18 mill off the books to start rebulding. Blazers get what they need in solidfying pg future with Harris and Walker. They could even resign patty for cheap for insurance. They also get a big man in Milsap and a replacement for Batum, in Miles. Again this is probably just a blazers fans wet dream...but what the heck.

I have heard ZERO rumors about a Portland-Utah trade. Care to provide anybody with a link or two?

This seems absolutely ignorant on Utah's behalf... And besides, I could have sworn I read somewhere after the Deron Williams trade that Utah's GM said they're not going through a rebuilding process...

    How about...
    a) We go for Favors in that deal
    b) Trade Fernandez for Ramon Sessions when Irving goes #1

I appreciate the heads up on the rumors as its hard to stay on top of them all but just a heads up, Bleacher Report is probably the least credible source there is out there, so take this one with a grain of salt.

We are way better then Utah, why would we trade half our Blazers for half the Jazz?

Uhhhhh...they'd be better then us. Whomever wrote this rumor obviously misses Coach Sloan, and wants a better team in Utah immediately.

well whoever led you to the rumor must have some great pot........

except the best part of this trade for Portland is the part you want to get rid of.
C.J motha_____'n Miles. IS unbelievably DOPE! He would be the most awesome part of the deal, along with Millsap. I love Paul Millsap, led the NCAA three years  in rebounds. Wow.

But now that i think about it, Utah did give like half of their team to Chicago last year with Booze, Brewer and Korver. So it could happen...
But Millsap would not be a replacement for Batum more of a backup for aldridge but Paul is on the verge of being a star like a Haslem Star, a utility star hahah....maybe Sloan will come back and play the point for utah

Haven't heard anything about Utah but I have heard that sacramento could be a team intersted in Andre...Beno Udrih was a Blazer killer last year and I like there young talented center Jason Thompson. They want to move Tyreke Evans off of the ball too.

I have not heard anything about this potential trade.  I do not think Utah would be interested in this trade.  But, it would be very interesting.  I would however keep my options open as to who I would select with the #4 pick.  After acquiring Devin I think we may be more enterested in the best big center to help with the loss of Camby.

Yeah, that link is pretty useless. That's the first I've heard of the rumors, and I have to say it would cause even more depth problems than we already have. Two excellent players vying for the starting 4 position (more likely one of them being forced to play out of their natural position and take on the Center role). Then we only have Wesley to play the 2-guard, unless Williams is healthy. We now have 4 PGs, two of which are starters, and two of which are liabilities. Our roster looks like this:

1: Harris, Miller, Mills, A. Johnson
    2: Matthews, Williams
    3: Wallace, Batum
    4: Aldridge, Millsap, Babbit
    5: Camby, Oden, C. Johnson

You tell me that's a better Blazers team, I would like to introduce you to my friend, Reality.

And what's up with the comment in the article saying Millsap is an upgrade over Aldridge. I'm not saying Millsap is bad, but I don't really see a lot of evidence that he's a better player than LA, especially now that LA is gaining confidence and adding to his game.

We could possibly take McCollum with the 10th pick and trade him to the kings for Marcus Thornton. I would personally prefer if we kept McCollum because he can give us scoring off the bench and he will bring that maturity of having been in college...

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.
