    my friend is a big fan of allen iverson so he told me to post this do u guys think we hsould get allen iverson or not

    but many people together on separate occasions taught me that Allen Iverson will never fly in Portland.
    He is right, he has rubbed some people the wrong way, and the fans of Portland are no Magic Lamp.
    This fan base has made up its mind on A.I, and there is no argument to get them to say otherwise. 
    Frankly i have to say i agree with them now, this time, with a player like Ellis looming in the near future, it would be a waste of effort and time.

    However i really would like to see the boil on his leg......i mean see him come back and play in the NBA, the more the merrier...

    nice i do hope want A.I to come back in the nba being a mvp once again probaly not in blazers but in 76ers maybe

    AI would make a good back-up PG who can give you points off the bench and drive to the hoop but he takes a lot of shots.

    Glad that he might make a comeback but I think he holds the ball too much which won't help with our rushed shots at the end of the shotclock.

    I made this post 1 year ago and people laughed at me. Seriously, check my previous posts. I said we should have snagged A.I. Now people aren't laughing?

    Well Iverson has made severel statements last season, before last season, saying that he would gladly take a secondary role ( aka bench) in order to try and win a ring....
    Tracy McGrady did the same thing as well, playing backup for Detriot for a few games before he became one step closer to ending his career via injury.... ( super sad faces )

    but like i siad, the more the merrier its going to be a dope season.......seeing as how the world is going to end and all....hahah ( please no Nostradomus posts )

    He threw a fit when Hollins tried to use him in a reserve role, while I wouldn't mind seeing him find a place on an nba team again, I don't believe anyone honestly thinks he can still contribute to a team that's contending for a championship. But if you can bring him in at the veterans minimum, and Patty AND Armon are of the roster without us picking up anyone new at pg, then maybe. But with the injuries we've had, I think it would be best to use that salary room and roster slot for a big, or someone we know can be instant offense (von wafer) off the bench.

    But In Turkey, the players on A.I.'s team complained about not being payed on time and quoted that "Iverson's paycheck is always on time."

    They has a specialist come in 2008 and say flat out that Oden and Roy were going to have knee issues. If you know the knees are going to be a potential issue then as a training staff you need to work on strengthening that area, healing it and help...

    Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
