In his move to make his go ahead bucket to help the mavs win game 4, Dirk traveled horribly. Did you miss it? Well here is the clip.

It should be a sweep already. The Heat have blown the lead in both losses. The Mavs don't deserve to be tied in the finals at 2 games, but the Heat are letting them hang around. Though there have been some questionable calls going the Mavs way this series in Dallas... Hm....
I am a fan of three goggles. Even when the rest of the NBA is hating on them, they're still the best!

dude to get it all down to one play is foolish.

    forget about dirk ......
what about the last five minutes of miami heat offense or lack of rather.
it seemed like every time they set it up it was a weak iso or lame screen and once it failed they reset and just took horrible three's or turned it over...

And the rotations are what are killing them. Spulstra knows which line ups are dominant and which are not.
in the last game they were about to give it up and hand it over to dallas, the guys in for miami were, chalmers, wade, miller, james, haslem......
like really, where is anthony where is bosh...
like he plays around too much because he still wants to experiment with his match ups....

what i would like to know is where is my boy at?
where is lebron? 8 - 10 pts last night?
like he has been on his jumper better than any other year, in this playoff, without question, but that doesnt mean he shouldn't go and get his dunk +1....
    its disappointing...

and furthermore, every person i know wants dallas to win because . A) they hate lebron and or B) Dirk deserves it...
    option A, is well...childish :D......
and option B is like, wait....what about J . Kidd? if anyone deserves to win a championship more than any of the other players in this years finals, its
    Kidd.....
    but go Bron. haha

as far as miami i really only hate lebron and bosh, as far as dallas i really only like, well, no one. dallas has been playing dirty all playoffs. the only way to stop LA was to hang all over him, and when LA got physical on D whistles went off from all across the country. I've seen Ltrain loose his composure twice since he was drafted, both times in the playoffs. last year the suns were hanging all over him and he wasn't getting any calls, this year dirk and chandler practically went MMA on him. they got pysical with LA and bynum finnaly had enough. I dont mind physical play when it's allowed on both ends, but it's been very 1sided for dallas all playoffs and it makes me think cubans deep pockets found their way to stern and the refs. I almost get sick to my stomach cheering for lebron and bosh, but i really want miami to stop them the next 2 games. common lebron, just score like 50ppg and finish this. i really want dallas to be imbarassed at this point.

Not as bad as the layup in Game 2.  He took 3 steps.  Dirk has been getting more calls than the big 3 combined.  Miami has this.

i mean what it comes down to is dallas won because they were the better team,  they beat portland, wasted the lakers and battled hard against OKC.....
the calls went in miami's favor in game one/two and in three and four they shifted to dallas

Bron needs to step it up and forget about what the public thinks. this team has been holding back because they are too sensitive to how the public feels, when all of miami wants these three to bust loose and win the damn series already.
Bron needs to bust out show everyone why he is the king..... remind the rest of the country just why it is they hate you....hahaha

If he wasnt as dope as he is made out to be, then people would of stopped talking about him a long time ago.
    like really think about that.....
someone who sucks and like is a total d-bag doesnt get major media coverage, isnt talked about non stop, invited to talk shows, that is not until charlie sheen broke into unclaimed territory about 3 months ago.......

People love lebron, without him, what would people do. im sure there are full on families out there , where they make a living on hating LeBron, they genuinely need him to exist so others can hate, so their family can survive......
thats how Epic Bron is, its like the Clinton Monica Lewinski situation, i mean she totally got ass famous for ___ his ____......... epic

I lost you somewhere in there... So LeBron is having an affair with Obama.. or?

I agree that taking it down to one play or "bad calls" is ridiculous. You can outplay ANY opponent if you play hard enough, including the whistle.

But I'm not sure where you're getting this pedestal for LeBron... there's literally no foundation for it. He's not even the best HEAT player in these finals, let alone the best player period. And yes I realize that game 6 is starting right now and I might eat my words 4 quarters from now.

All the same, traveling has become a moot point. More than half of LeBron's dunks that I've seen have been travels. He double dribbles and carries a lot too. Every closer in the last 20 years has had travels, offensive fouls, double dribbles, and 3-second calls that were missed and allowed them to score game winning baskets.

i guess....unless that one call goes against you because Deshaun Stevenson likes to start $#!t.....!!!! that was just ridiculous.....

It was just a sarcastic example that is surprisingly true.....i dont expect anyone to "get it" let alone "accept it".

but that comes down to your definition of "best" because i know Wade is damn good. i dont consider bosh to be a half a star, i like them both, but i'm not hearing their names day in and day out. i am not seeing their names posted on the t.v. screen when they compare LeBrons first 9 games to Jordans/Magic's/Kobe's.....

like they could put anyone elses name up there....but they dont.

The fans of the NBA, or the people who watch the games or buy the merchandise or whatever you want to call or classify them as have undoubtedly put LeBron on a pedestal. A lot of them say that it is easier to hate him than like him.....which is completely stupid because the act of hating someone requires a lot more effort that to say... completely ignore them?.......but a lot of them choose to hate because it is what everyone else is doing. just like it was cool to like MJ ( not hate hinm) and it was cool to like Kobe and Shaq playing together, or Magic or Bird. The simple fact is he is the NBA right now, please show me the deepest darkest Seattle Supersonic forgotten fan cave and i guarantee you will see Bron Brons name written on the wall......

As far as his traveling goes, Bron only Travels in a Jet....a G6 to be exact hahha.
But he really doesnt travel anyone else who is considered a high flyer, you see, haters cannot pay attention to small details, its the really big BS stories they love.

What these guys are doing these days is when they flash to the lane, they begin their first step as the ball is returning to their hand from bouncing off the ground this allows them to take an extra step before they pick up the ball and take their two steps.  but the game evolves, you think people were just totally okay with the the three pointer when it first came out?
have you seen semi pro, the ally-oop? yeah thats right.

It must be something in the water because people love to doubt whats true and love to believe the hypy (haha) BS

Just to clarify, my opinion comes from my own eyeballs. LeBron is good, no doubt about that. Also, I'm not condemning James, Wade, Melo, or any other high-flyer for taking the three-step jump. I understand how referee's make decisions and I can imagine the reffing evolved along with the game just so one-third of all fast-breaks weren't waved off from traveling calls. How boring would the NBA be if that were the case? What I was trying to get at was the fact that the same reffing crew would look at the exact same play that Dirk made and still wouldn't call traveling even if it came from a Heat player. It wasn't a biased no-call. It was a good no-call.

I won't argue much about LeBron as a great either. I still think he needs a ring (really a three-peat) to contend with Jordan and Kobe, but that doesn't mean he isn't good. The reason I "hate" on him has nothing to do with the popularity of hating him; I don't hang out with enough NBA fans for it to matter. It's mostly his conduct: lying to the city of Cleveland about staying until they won a championship, taunting players when he gets a call from a flop, and mocking Dirk... to name a few. You look up to whomever you want. As for me, I'll wait for the next big superstar to come along before I make more comparisons to Jordan.

if you are referring to dirks little fluke of a shot in game 5 ( i think) to be honest i dont think he traveled......

i dont hang out with a lot of basketball fans either, but when my friends and complete strangers on the street know who LeBron is, and say " its easier to hate him than it is to like him" i think thats F'd up. I respect lebron because i understand him.
Like he may of said something and not lived up to it, but like does anyone go back and check up on what MJ said and never did? Or Kobe? No, because no one is more critical of any other athlete than LeBron James ( and maybe Tiger)

But alot of people hate him, ive noticed, they hate him so much that when he doesnt achieve something, like winning a ring, they hate him even more, like he was their best friend in grade school and now he is the cocky jock who never speaks to them anymore...... like a need to hate in order to express that they care.

think about it really think about it. Show me one other person that is a significant individual who is treated the same as LeBron......lady gaga? maybe?> People say they hate him, but they cant stop talking about him like they are obsessed with him....... they say they are so annoyed by what he does on and off the court, hen why do they not just ignore him? When  a small child ( and some will say Bron is one) begins to annoy or antagonize you do you constantly yell at them? Do you express how much you hate it that they are banging that hammer into the wall? Do you go to your friends and begin a website that states how immature that child is?

No you ignore them until they stop. You continue doing what it is you are doing until they are done.
Not for Bron, its like a n I.V. being intravenously fed hate.....
Another aspect to look at how messed up LeBrons situation is, he was hated this past summer because he made the choice to go to MIA, people said " why does he need the help?" and hated.they said he is totally going to get a ring, and hated it. but also the double sided blade, he is going to be equally hated if not hated even more if he doesnt win ( which he just didnt). they hate him for dominating single handedly and tell him he is not a team player. but when he does change his game up the media rips him apart and says " hey where is your game? why are you not dominating?"
i mean this guys life is just 100% unfair and no one, not one person does anything to try and make it better.
but i dont think either of these teams deserved to win this final, atrocious game-play form both teams, and if there is anyone to hate it is Spulstra and i will leave it at that.....till next season.....

I think I get it. And I'll give you most of that. People are overly critical of LeBron, not to mention the Heat in general. He gets more flak and attention than any other NBA player.

I personally am not a fan of James because of some of his conduct and decision-making, given that it was his choice to be a professional basketball player. The key word for me in this is "professional". There's no proof that Jordan, Nowitzki, or any other player to whom James might be compared, did not have similar thoughts, desires, and attitudes as James. But THEY conducted themselves like professionals, and I cannot say the same of James. So, from a business standpoint, I'm irritated with LeBron like I'm irritated with Steve Jobs.

What I actually hate is completely out of his control, and that is the media and hype around him. People keep calling him a great, saying he's better than Jordan, and doting on him left and right. This is unjustified. It's actually a negative from James' standpoint because it puts undue pressure on him, and I believe he has actually handled the pressure quite well.

Either way, can we both agree that there is way too much hype around LeBron? You may like him as a player, and I may dislike him, but I would agree that liking or disliking a player should be free from media/hype influence.

Wow. it is rare meet/speak/type to a person who reacts with such cool head on this topic.
usually this is the part where the " no backbone" of the AntiBron arguement breaks down, but not here, you have your own reasons, they are solid and not only do i respect that i can say that i agree with the lack of professionalism....i totally see that, but i guess it doesnt bug me, i like it. i am happy that he isnt super serious all the time because he should have fun, but i get you.

not only do i agree with you on that last bit, but i loathe the very fact that the majority bases their opinions on others by judging them by what they read in the papers or magazines. just because its type written means without question or thought that it must be true and those same people not only read and believe that nonsense, some base entire social campaigns off of them. ( think politics )

but wow dude, im super impressed and again thank you for totally finding a middle ground.
