From the high praise we got from their coach about our fan base, now JT says we gave them the most fits on defense. Sure takes the sting away from the first round exit and shows just how close we are to being contenders.

losing in the first round 3 years in a row shows how close we are to being contenders? Once our defense is good enough to win a series then we'll talk.

You guys are so negative i agree we are not championship team yet. But hey even though the lakers made it to the second round they got swept by mavs i mean come on give our guys a little credit.the mavs have proven to be the best in the west and the fact we even gave them a run for there money makes me happy. Now if we had a completely healthy team and still had first round exit i would say be as negative as u want but the fact they continue to overachieve because us the fans still had hope says alot about our team. they could have thrown in the towel along time ago.

We were BY FAR better defensively than OKC and the Lakers.  But the Heat?  No.  We all know he's a sour puss, and can never back up what he says.  He said the Mavs crowd was "better" than the Portland crowd.  We all know  that's not true.  Portland had less fans in the Rose Garden (capacity issues) than the American Airlines arena, yet, they were about 50x louder.  Not ONCE did I hear Mark Mason.

Honestly, I don't take this as a compliment from Terry, I take it as an insult.  For some reason those morons in Dallas think Portland was the easiest matchup they've had.  Their players have said it, their coach has said it, and even Cuban has said it.  Go Heat.  Beat the dead horse and make those idiots retire ringless.

Im not saying this team cant go on to do big things, im simply stating that so far they havent. Yes they havent been heathy but i'm not giving them any credit until they actually accomplish something. No moral victories here. I want to see this team be successful in the post season just as badly as any other blazer fan. But as of now they havent taken any steps closer to being contenders. As far as the lakers getting swept and the blazers winnng two games, the blazers really only had one comamnding victory. It took a miraculous comeback to barely get two. Yes, a win is a win is a win. But the differnce between getting swept and 1 real victory isnt that big. I'm not saying the second one doesnt count but really that was the mavs game to win and if they could have only made a few crucial plays in the end this series could have easily been 4-1.

i have noticed that JT, the Jet is a bit of a media whore........
this guy has now come out and made at least 3 derogatory statements towards the heat since the series has started..
i mean someone should tell him to worry about basketball and not about who like's who....

He should be talking more about his own teams defense, or lack of because i still see Bron and Wade carving it up in the paint. Miami has some pretty solid defense and there is no way to argue around that fact, but is terry giving credit to the blazers because they played more games against them than any other team so far? or what?

like honestly, jason terry just deflected a pass and it went out of bounds off his hand and as soon as it left the court he started pointing that it was dallas' ball.......

terry is an idiot, just check the front page of nba.com and you're bound to see him throwing up a taunt to the other team or something to the crowed. he's as juvenile as his owner putting on warm ups and shooting with the team.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...
