Obviously Paul Allen has the money.

Both the Seahawks and Trailblazers in his fold, but he goes thru GM's like crazy.  Rich Cho was a master of the Salary Cap and a great judge of talent (Gerald Wallace).  He needs to quit meddling and let the professionals do their jobs and stay behind the scenes.  He needs to learn that if he has great leaders around him he does not need yes men who will kiss his butt.  He sort of reminds me of how AL Davis goes thru coaches and look where they have gone.

Yes we make the playoffs, but we get booted not because of the GM or Coach, we get booted because the players have to play a full 48 minutes and earn their salaries.  I love Aldridge, and he was unbeatable when Marcus Canby and Brandon Roy were out, but as soon as they came back, he went back to more of the jump shot playing, rather than playing in the paint and being an animal, like he was in January and February.  If Aldridge would have played like that in the playoffs; who knows how far we would have gone?

Again, Paul Allen, let the professionals do their job and make the players earn thier keep.

When Allen starts looking like a senior citizen enjoying his retirement in a Floridian old folks home you can call him Al Davis, if anything he's more like Jerry Jones, the worst you can accuse him of is smothering, but that's like getting mad at the guy for having passion for his team, that's nothing new or shocking is it?
I think with all the talk of this being a weak draft, we may see a lot of activity on draft day from Paul Allen and staff.

He has the money I agre, but he does not know BasketBall.  Maybe they should bring Rick Adelman in as GM

Cho stunk, we got worse, Nate had a short-handed team all season. Great efforts from Miller and Aldridge enabled us to stay afloat in the playoff race. Paul Allen knows stinky basketball when he see's it.

Cho is responsible for all the injuries?  Boyt if you have every GM in the league responsible for Team's Injuries, there would not be any GM's.  Do I need to remind you of Gerald Wallce and his presence (CHO).  La needs to play the pain consistently and not take the jump shots.  When he was on a tear in January in February he lived in the pain and then ROy and Canby came back he went back to the same old LA.  HE is a power forward, he should be driving to the basked every play.

Aldridge took a huge leap last season in getting in the paint to score, and it obviously took a huge toll on his body towards the end. We are lucky he didn't get injured last season I think, Cho and KP and whoever else you wanna blame didn't have the right personnel that their coach needed for the second year in a row, we can't do everything in the draft, especially with only 2 bad picks.

Look at Zach Randolph who played 48 minutes of basketball in the palyoffs.  Do you think he was thinking about getting hurt.  CHO and KP have nothin to do with the Players responsibility to play at Money time.  Quit making excuses for the players.

I don't even understand what you are trying to argue, and i've read your posts a few times now. Zach took some money jumpers, yet you defend him in the same thread you berate Aldridge for not driving to the lane every time (the same zone that stopped lebron and wade from doing it consistently, was supposedly not good enough to stop Aldridge had he 'tried' in your opinion).
The GM has EVERYTHING to do with who is on the roster, and if the roster is incomplete or logjammed, then that is on the GM, Aldridge played the 2nd most minutes in the regular season for any position, and was still playing hard in the playoffs. So quit making excuses for the GM's.

Your and idiot.  Cannot speak to fools.  Yes they have everything to do w9ith the roster.  But they do not have anything to do with the Players playing hard.

@Meese, it is quite ironic. They also just so happen to have the planets best player in Lebron James who leads them in rebounding with just over 8 a game.

Can Portland give Dallas cash considerations for the 13th pick? If so, make the deal and package the 10th and 13th for the 4th or 5th pick and get Oladipo or McLemore or gamble and wait for C.J. McCollum at 10 and grab Hardway at 13. Either way i ...
