    I will start

    My name is Tobyus Sanchezo

a.k.a. Lawrence (on Blazer live chat)

Qualifications: I love me some Blazers. I will box out, rebound, hit players with crisp passes, and light it up from downtown. That's right, I would practice with my team. I would get to know the players on a game to game level. I would use everyone's input in the Blazer's organization, before making any heroic roster moves.

My experience on the court playing mad pick up games and city league ball, gives me a better understanding of how the game of basketball is played at the highest level. And the many Blazer games I've been to at the Rose Garden, assures me intuitions of the proper fan's perspective.

Basically, I'd bring back 1 dollar Blazer Dog nights, and give away more free stuff. Also, I'd put noise meters in the upper bowl, and one in the lower bowl, so fans can have nightly competitions to see which level is louder. I'd repaint the floor scheme, so it doesn't look like a library, while keeping the massive Blazer symbol of course. And I would hang more posters of Clyde Drexler everywhere. But also taking into account all fan favorites by request.

Thank you for your time today, GO BLAZERS!

I am a fan of playoffs in two zero one three

uhh, yeah Larry, we've had enough time to look this over and.....

    Well you see.....

We have this policy that states, "General Managers must trade actually decent players and potential PGOTF, type players for draft picks from teams that will make the first round of the playoffs, at least. A pick from a team that makes it to the finals would be better."

And your concerns about the floor design, well ....
It is important and crucial from keeping our ever so beloved fans, hypnotized in a trance like state of mind. So with them inhibited by the intricate floor design, they wont even think to question who is running the training facilities. In particular the knee department.

So im thinking this is just isnt gonna work untill you get the new cover on youre TPS reports........greaaaaat

If the question is what would you do as the new Blazer GM....... I would begin with trades that get us under the salary cap while making the team better.  Move #1 resign Batum to a substantial contract 5yr/50mil. then look to trade Camby, Fernandez and Batum for Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon and Daniel Orton. Then I would look to trade with Detroit for Rodney Stuckey, #8, #33 for Luke Babbitt, Daniel Orton and Andre Miller. Then with #8 I draft Kenneth Faried, I then move up using #21, #51 and Chris Duhon to Milwaukee for #10, #40 and select Alec Burks with #10, then with #33 I take  Demetry McCamey, and with #40 I take the top Center/Pf on the list. Finally I find a way to drop Brandon Roy's Massive contract hopefully through the new loophole (injury exception) or through a trade with little in return such as Yao Ming(a large expiring contract) with future 2nd rounder.

First, I would not trade for Dwight Howard because he would leave after one year.  So the rest of the trades would not occur.  I am also convinced trading for a bunch of draft picks would put Portland in the rebuilding mode which is the opposite direction desired by management.

    Name: Chris Craig

Qualifications:  I was born and bred with basketball in my blood. I have played the game since I was ten. I learned the fundamentals of basketball the hard way taking elbows to the face in pick- up games. In high school I was the starting pg on my team.  I am the most loyal of Trailblazers fans.  I feel every loss and savor ever victory as though it were my own. I have watched the blazers for over a decade.  The Blazers has a special brand of basketball, unlike any other franchise in the NBA.  They persevere on heart and determination. They are relentless.  There is no room for ego on the Blazers, which is why there will never be players like Lebron or Kobe in Portland.  The blazers brand is one built for role players, 15 guys who understand the value of teamwork.

If I were to be hired as the GM of the Portland Trailblazers, I would not make any rash decisions about trading/signing players without evaluating the team as it is. I would do that by getting to know the players by suiting up and practicing with the team. I would be a hands on GM who would make decisions from the inside out. I would communicate with the players, coaches, and the front office in order to decide the best moves for this team. The Blazers are due a championship. No more two or three more years of rebuilding, and waiting to see. The time is now.  I don’t want to go into naming specific players I would trade for or sign, but I would realistic about it. I.e. I would not even try to trade for Dwight Howard. I would look into trading away the draft picks and some players who have not worked out for this team for a player who better fits the team. I would resign Miller and Camby, they will retire Blazers.  I would resign Oden, his determination tells me he will be back, and he will be a force in this league no matter what anyone says. Other than that you would have to wait and see. Suffice to say I would bring in a few players, i.e. a back- up point guard and a back-up power forward to boost the bench. The Blazers are a few players from contending I would make that happen.

The Blazer fans are the best in the NBA. They need to feel more appreciated; especially the fans in the upper bowl. Just because their tickets cost less doesn’t mean they should be treated any less. I would offer more free stuff up there. I would have a fan of the game drawing every game and have the winner come down and sit by the Blazer bench for the game. That’s just the tip of the ice berg of what I have to offer to the organization.  Thanks…lets go Blazers!

I would agree LMA is a decent defender but his help defense and team defense needs a lot of work. It is in these areas that Bosh really separates himself from LMA and it is because of that he is a better player than LMA despite not putting the sam...

I was looking at some shooting stats and came across a very very alarming stat. LMA was the league leader in FGA from 16-23 feet. Not only was he the leader he was lead by a mile. His 7.3 attempts from this distance easily outpaced Demar Derozan w...

Sug I would start with him outscoring Wesley Matthews. He also needs to get his FTA up and his FG% up and cut down the turnovers.

His defense was decent last year but not that good as he is either too weak or just unwil...
