This guy has a motor that resembles Gerald Wallace's. He gets after it on every posession. If he puts on about 10lbs of muscle, he's going to be tough to contain, particularly in trying to keep him off the glass. I like his chances at the next level. His shooting form could stand a little work, but from 10 feet and within,he's got a decent touch. Not quite a Boozer  or Zach touch, but decent. I think he's coachable also, not alot of ego. I think he'd be a solid pick-up if we could snag him, after Kemba Wlaker of course.

I think you could do a whole lot worse with a pick in this year's draft.  I like this kid.  Show me a 4 in this league with drive like Faried, and I'll show you a rotational player.  Motor, motor, motor...Nic, are you paying attention?

You guy's know Kennith Faried is 6'6" and plays like a Power Forward, right?
I am a fan of you checking your email because Elliot Williams is sending you a message!

actually he is 6'8" and that is still small but i think his talent makes up for it

    Great find commontongue!

Faried is actually 6-8 with a 7-0 wingspan according to the combine measurements.
I really an impressed by this kid. He's relentless on the glass, loves doing the dirty work and takes pride in what he does. He doesn't strike me as a player who will demand shots or will pout if he doesn't get any plays ran for him. He's the complete package when it comes down to a backup power forward and better than anything he embraces that role.

It would be fun to have two Wallaces on our team.

ya he's 6'8.  Also as long as you box out well, have strength and have a lot of hussle size isnt that large of a deal.  Dajuan Blair is like 6'6 I think and he is still a very good player and will probably end up replacing Duncan in the spurs starting lineup once Duncan retires.  Also unlike Blair, Faried is extremely athletic so he should have even more success than Blair is having now.  Also 6'8 really isnt that short for a power forward

I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

Wasn't Brian Grant thought to be "undersized"?  Grant and Faried share more in common than hair style.  Personally, I would love to see Faried backing LA up, and believe he would have an immediate impact.

Nice Idea but I think the TWolves trade is very lobsided in our favor

Derrick Williams and Budinger are proven players in the league. Claver and Freeland are not

Hawes was playing nice this season and would be a good pick up imo ...

I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
